Calhoun Positive About Past, Future

Full story: Hartford Courant

Jim Calhoun will not be haunted by the ending. He's not going to lose sleep because of missed free throws, a dearth of bench scoring or anything else that cost UConn a place in the national championship game.

The way this story reads, right from the first sentence, it seems like Jim Calhoun himself wrote it. I guess he's really lassoed the media into being his mouthpiece.

Go Huskies!

Coach I am still willing to serve in your army whenever you need me, because I am the " ultimate soldja boy ". The enemy will try to conquer us but with your guidance coach we will prevail. Remember there is only one super hero in Huskiy Land and he goes by the name of THE TIMSTER !!!

Did you actually read the story? It's based on an interview with Calhoun but there's also mention of the possible recruiting violation.

I don't see a bias here.

The Huskies are the only thing that gets me through the winter. If they are bad, I am depressed. What else is there? The National Boring Association.

as to the gentleman who calls calho0un a baboon, i'd like to know what you are doing with your life. he's in the hall of fame, has won two national titles, makes millions of dollars a year, and has created a charitable foundation at the UConn health center. I'm curious as to what your lifetime accomplishments are. I bet they pale in comparison. If he is a baboon perhaps you're a jackass!

You may as well watch the NBA... Most of the team will be there soon. The only reason anyone plays basketball for UCONN is to be in the NBA in 2 years; ready or not. It certainly isn't to graduate from UCONN or to win a title...

Someone with the handle "jukebox romeo" shouldn't start making observations on the relative intelligence of others. When did you become Mensa president?

genius.

I stand by my cheerleading.

I am looking forward to next year. It will be nice to see all of the new players coming in. I think they have a chance to be a better team next year than they were this year. If they are it will be quite an accomplishment.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Capricorn

The detail-oriented Moon in Virgo is extremely supportive and helpful, so it feels good to know that you can count on some support. You may know just where the help is coming from, but with communicative Mercury all over transformative Pluto in your sign, maybe you're being looked after by your very own guardian angel. Don't let this encourage you to take foolish risks or overstep the mark.
