HE STINKS AS A COACH>> GO GET A REAL JOB loss to Michigan State, says he will reflect on his future more than he has in previous off-seasons.

And your a better coach? Come on.....give the man his due.....He put CT basketball where it is. And their athletics has benefitted from it in many ways. So just keep your derogatory remarks to yourself. Or if you really feel the need "BEN DOVER" then identify yourself & honestly state your point OR SHUT UP!

actually, i may be alone here, but i feel sorry for him!...for his health problems, obviously, but i feel poorly, as well, because he seems to have lost his way....as the head man at northeastern, i went to see him speak a few times and he was super...likewise, early on at uconn i'd see him and hear him speak and he was outstanding....however, it APPEARS he, like too may others before him, have "sold their souls", so to speak, to make it to the "big time"...along the way, his players have recently shown how NOT to be good citizens (or classmates, for that matter) and they've gotten away with it all solely because they could put the ball in the hoop!...i KNOW it happens across the country, but i've always though coach calhoun was above such things, always comparing him to the coach at duke.....and then saturday night, one of his shining stars of disrepute, the kid (one of two) who stole computer(s) from classmates, went DEEP into the tank!....hopefully, coach calhoun will be back next season and go back to being the wonderful man of high character he once was...God bless!

You're just an ugly cheerleader with a bad case of the "clap". Whose dress are you wearing tonight "Cybil", North Carolina or Michigan State?

Well if UNC wins I win 1300 in a pool I got in.But to make sure I win something I hedged it by putting 500 on MSU getting 7.The best scenario is that UNC wins but doesn't cover the 7 and then I win both.

So you're a mercenary then? Not into college athletics for the fun,the excitement, just the money? That can take some years off your life you know. I'm sure listening to your hedge reasoning you may have it in the bag on this game, but I'm always amazed how much money they keep dumping into Foxwoods etc. I'm sure you're one of the "successful" gamblers I guess. I always remember a good one I was told: there are only 2 kinds of gamblers: Losers, and Liars. Do you fall into either category?

Nah,I spent 30 bucks to fill out 3 brackets at work. When the guy running the pool printed out the scenarios today someone mentioned this as a way of making sure money. To be honest,I can't stand basketball, pro or college.

I've been to Mohegan Sun a few times and I like playing blackjack but can usually only find $25 tables.I'd rather take the couple hundred dollars I might bet and play a round of golf at Lake of Isles there.I do however have no problem gambling on the golf course,at least I have some control over that.

<quoted text> You really should adjust your tag to more accurately portray the real YOU, how about substituting the word "giving" where it applies. Now do YOU understand derogatory?
From your other posts I would have said you are a UConn fan. But when I reply to Cow about his negative statement about Jim Calhoun, you attack me?

of course, i do, you dolt, i wrote it!...i also hope he "gets back" to basics and starts to recruit and only KEEP players of good character....i don't like how it APPEARS he's taken "the end justifies the means" mentality...there are kids who would love to attend uconn who are refused admission so that some of these less-than-stellar "student"-athletes " in basketball (and football, for that matter) take their slots!...God bless!

Rather than review, if I've offended any Husky fan, accept my apologies. You must agree, it's tough to keep up with some of the haters, they have nothing going on in life but to spew nonsense. Again, the highest form of flattery for a great Coach and program.

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Leo

Your sunny temperament has returned, dear Leo, as the Sun and Venus dance in Sagittarius and the marvellous Moon shines in your sign. Whatever the day has to offer, it should bring you some pleasure and laughter, so arrange something nice if you don't have anything planned. Your power to charm is considerable right now and it will make you a big hit with whoever gets the full force of it. But don't give someone the come-on if you don't mean it.
