Defining Moment For Price, Possibly UConn's Season

Full story: Hartford Courant

Sometimes the moment changes everything. A team fights the winter weather to cross a continent and it must decide how it will react.

Yeah, great game, but let's bring up the 3-year old laptop thing again, even though AJ already paid his dues for it with the year suspension.

Gotta love the CT message board cynics.

Baskeball games between two good teams often come down to foul shots. I was reading some UCon message boards and guys were complainging about Ucon getting homered by west coast refs. Hello!! UCon had 15 more points from the line than Gonzaga and 39 attempts to 20!
And Gonzaga had several players fouled out in OT. Were those west coast refs??

What does getting "homered" mean?? I can see you are very passionate about ball dribbling. How much of your life do you waste on watching guys bouncing basketballs? I bet you get all worked up and swear at the t.v. and bore your coworkers with big talk about ball dribbling. How sad.

I imagine that it is not too hard to shoot a basket when nobody is blocking you. It must be almost as hard as bouncing the ball. I can see why colleges would offer big scholarships to kids with this great dribbling talent. And I can see why professional ball dribblers deserve millions of dollars each year. I bet ball dribblers will eventually find a cure for cancer and other big deeds. They must be doing something important to earn million dollar salaries and to have people like you loving them so much!! Is there a ball bouncing major in college? I would think so since ball dribblers get so much money in scholarships to get an education.

A "defining moment"? Did he save a life? Find a cure for a disease? Did he do some charity work? Help others? Oh...he dribbled a basketball.

And can you please explain to me where your deep-seated issues with AJ Price and basketball ion general stem from? Did a basketball player steal your wife or something? It must have been something along those lines lmmfao!

"Moments earlier, Austin Daye had intercepted Price's inbounds pass and thrown it off him as he stood out of bounds." What is the rule on this? Price was already out of bounds, so isn't he part of the out of bounds? The last player to touch it inbounds was Daye..

Agreed. I think the refs screwed that call up. Price never re-established himself inbounds, so he was still part of out of bounds.

Just the type of trailer park response I'd expect. "STFU"? Guess you didn't get much education either. Enjoy your Schlitz and your wasted hours watching boys. Pretty soon they'll be millionaires off of shmucks like you!!!

Ironic that you should ask what they stole since most of them get caught either with stolen merchandise or drugs! Your kind of kids!

Special Treatment...you're a classic. Keep it up. Your puddle deep thoughts and contradictions reveal so much about you. You cant seem to peel the onion even one layer deeper and realize that the ball dribblers you disdain are actually responsible for raising the revenue that allow the university to pursue the things you admire, like scientific study. What kind of person hates ball dribblers but spends his time on ball dribbler message boards and appears to watch the very ball dribblers he hates? By the way, do you hate all ball dribblers or just the black ones? Your comments reek of something awful.
'Most of them get caught with stolen merchandise and drugs?" Wow...your exaggerations are only exceeded by your lack of real insight.

"Awwww! Now you are trying to read all sorts of things into my comments. Please go back to piddling your time away hero worshipping a bunch of shallow athletes who will learn nothing in college but how to wallow in self-entitlement and their own inflated ego! LOL! You can continue to live vicariously through them!!"

We get it. You're better than us all because we watch, and enjoy, college basketball. Thanks, but it got old after about four or five redundant posts filled with generalizations and character attacks.

How about you go and try to accomplish something important and/or constructive with your life instead of wasting your time trying to enlighten us poor, naive souls on a message board?

Your failure to address the issues further shows you're incapable of reasoned thought and just like to rant like a child.
So seriously, do you hate all ball dribblers? You obviously do not like pro ball dribblers? How about high school ball dribblers? What about female scholarship ball dribblers? What about scholarship ball throwers?...do you hate them too? Ball catchers?...are they ok? Or is it just the really good ball dribblers that get invited to play for top programs that you hate? Do you hate less skilled ball dribblers as much as the really good ball dribblers? Would you let your kids dribble a ball or is that off limits?
I can see it now..."No playtime for you little Special Treatment! Go study your science! I wouldn't want you to get good at dribbling that thing and get a scholarship!- then you'd be like one of THEM!"
