Despite their recent struggles, Maryland could and should win this game.

Brilliant, another simply brilliant comment from you once again. Were you up late to come up with it or did you just copy and paste from another day? You are a mental giant with insightful comments.

NIT didn't do the Gophers and favors! Its good that the game is at home, but I am not sure about this game. I was shocked to see Kentucky get into the NCAA tourament with a 18-12 record. Must of gotten there on the repretation of what Tubby Smith built at Kentucky because Kentucky isn't all that good!! A NIT team at best!

Gophers drew a tough one! I hope everyone on the Gopher's team brings their "A" game!

Maryland, then Syracuse, then the winner of Florida State and Massachusetts.. Flafan is correct. What a secondrate tournament. Yeah right. Tough tournament draw for the Gophers.. They have had a great year considering where the program was going, and we have a lot to look forward to. With how young the team will be next year, it might be another NIT year for the Gophers next year. But then, it should be another nice string of NCAA visits, without the threat of NCAA sanctions.

You are right about one thing-it will be another NIT next year. By the way, all the teams you listed are about as bad as MN-that is why they are in the NIT!!

Yes, and those two consecutive national championship banners are flying high in the Florida fieldhouse they started 4 freshman this year-next year they will be back in the final four and MN will make its usual NIT appearance -as for FSU-they reek but managed to thoroughly dominate MN this year in a blowout! You were saying?

We also have Central Florida, South Florida, Miami all D-1--Central florida is the largest university in Florida and second nationally to Ohio State 49,000 students. Their football team would bury the Gophers as would South Florida. But then who wouldnt??

I do all the time! It is just so much fun pointing out how stupid you koolaid drinkers are and deluded into thinking your program is headed to the top when it is headed to nowhere!
