This is great, thanks for including all of the area's Division I teams in your roundup. Good luck to all!

They already lost in their tourney. No real need for any analysis as their season is pretty much over at 16-14.

Navy's season isn't pretty much over: it IS over.

Towson plays Hofstra today, 8/9 game, then winner get 1 seed VCU. Tough road for them.

But Towson is looking really good next year.

Don't blame PK quite yet, he's had to ressurect Towson from shambles. But next year could be the year.

By the way, UMBC is a year one stint. Their transfers are done after this year and they will be lucky to compete in even the America East.

The Vasquez bashing is getting old. Your negativity is not lost on me.

Rather than look for hope in a sophomore guard who, while not a "true" point guard in your mind, still happens to lead the conference in assists (and is 4th in points), you criticize his dribbling ability. Does Vasquez commit lots of turnovers? Yes. Do they come from poor dribbling? No.

If you must be negative, I suggest you look elsewhere, than to the one player who leaves it all on the court, every game.

You are right on one account though - much of the Terps' fortunes lay in the hands of James Gist. If he plays well, the Terps generally win. If he doesn't, they generally lose.

Thank you for not leaving out the MOUNT in this article (as Maese always does). If they don't dance this year, next year will be the year. They are young and improving all the time.

GO MOUNT!

It's too bad none of these teams can stack up to the area's premier program, Georgetown!

Yea, but as far as I know none of the local programs admitted a kid with a 600 SAT either

We'll never know because the ADs and coaches of both MD and G-town have been stubborn for decades and refuse to back down from their ridiculous arguments about scheduling.

These two programs have robbed area sports fans of what could have been one of the greatest regional rivalries in all of sports. It's completely inexcusable.

The freaking schools are only 15 minutes apart!

Ditto - the "rivalry that never was" between MD & Navy football.

shutup u frickin G-town homos, you guys are one of the most everrated teams in the nation, if not the most overrated! But until Gaytown plays an ACC schedule then keep your mouth shut, Roy Hibbert is softer than baby shit and you still wanna ride him! Tell your coach to grab his nuts and play MD...I guarantee you leave with an L!

Go Terps! F*** Gay town!

GARYLAND aka "NIT" LAND,, tough for terps to rebound after Clemson meltdown,?? Do any of the Georgetown players go to class? just curious, Hopefully UMBC, Morgan, can hold serve in their conference tournaments and go dancing,, Wouldn"t it be cool to see Towson make it to the "nit" and play in garyland aka "NIT" Land and pull off with a 10 pt win. Also, rumor has it the Terp women favored over "nit"men by 6 , any takers??!!!!
