You win when the players reach their goals. NBA or graduate. Over 50% need to achieve one or the other.
Many area schools who have recruited from our backyard are getting that done. George Mason got their recent "Bill Walton" from Baltimore. We had Ibekwe and should have had him. Thats right, Ibekwe.

The "fit Williams style" has not worked for five years. The Gary faithful are not thinking about the players.

Gist. Osby going to the NBA? That matters to a standout recruit.

How about a current HS junior who is the second coming of MD alum and all-American Tom McMillan, Rhodes Scholar, NBA strongman for 10 years. Why would I choose MD? Its lonely when you are the only one graduating. Hello Duke, UNC.

Not working folks-recruiting starts when you meet player desires and this is no longer competitive.

Gary is lost. The program is lost. Keep yelling, we are getting bounced from the NIT.

Yow should and will fix this.

We have nothing to worry about. Take your HS point total and divide it by 1/2. That is class dismissed. Gary will pull the scrubs in front of you and make you squeel....

Baltimore station 2 news just finished the sports segment. Final comment "this is a season terps fans will forget."

yea got that right. Its' getting hard to remember anytime they are playing. Maybe catch two or three games a season. And that could be a streth going forward.

I expect Vasquez to leave early, maybe go back to Venezuela,he shouldn't be playing the point,Bowie should be there next year,in spite of the naysayers,I don't think Hayes ever recovered from his ankle injury completely, looked like 2 different players.Moseley and Maze out of JC should help, and to all you Gary bashers he will be back and he will win, next year,I'd bet on it.Gus Gilchrist will help as well.

FIRST, WHEN TEAMS PLAY A ZONE YOUR GUARDS HAVE TO BEAT IT WITH JUMP SHOTS. 3-GUARDS BEAT 2 ON THE TOP WITH PASS OVER & OVER. SECOND, WHY DO THEY INSIST ON PUSHING THE BALL UP THE COURT SO FAST, ALL IT DID WAS CAUSE TURNOVERS ALL YEAR, TURNOVERS!!GARY POINT OF GOING INSIDE FIRST ONLY WORKS WHEN YOUR BIGS CAN THROW THE BALL BACK OUT. MD GUARDS NEED TO BE CONFIDENT AND TAKE THE SHOT AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT VASQUEZ. HE HAD TO SHOOT BECAUSE NO ELSE WOULD!!

Millions of taxpayers dollars are wasted to pay the salarys of UM's football and basketball coaches and to maintain their respective playing venues.

And for what?

What percentage of those young men even graduate, yet alone make it in the NFL or NBA?

Meanwhile kids who want an education can't afford to get one because tuition costs keep skyrocketing to offset the costs of the football and basketball programs.

The Twerps are merely reaping what they sow.

to Sad Truth-It might help if you do a little research before you run your mouth. The football and basketball programs have caried the other programs because of the money that they do generate. If you're going to be an ass,at least be an educated ass,go to any UM's financial report and see who draws in the most revenue?Women's tennis perhaps? And where were you when the football and basketball programs were floundering before Gary and Ralph?I still predict that next season Maryland will go to a good bowl game and Gary will be in the NCAA's.Let's see if you respond than.

and play in the NFL,Shawne Merriman,Nadieu Williams,E.J.Henderson,Kris Jenkins, just to name a few and in the NBA,Juan Dixon,Steve Blake and Joe Smith and Steve FRancis, and for years Tony Massenberg,Keith Booth won a championship,Drew Nicholas and Travis Garrison are both making good money playing overseas.Need I say more?Oh how about Shaun Hill, who won the starting QB job over former number one pick,Alex Smith and just signed a nice contract,as did Dominique Foxworth. And it looks like both Hendersons will be in the NFL next year along with Andrew Crummey,Dre Moore, and Haynos, the tight end.
