The better team won. It's as simple as that.

Washington is a faster, better shooting, more athletic, and better rebounding team than SC.

As hard as the Pac10 refs tried to homer the Huskies, they just kept playing tough.
SC is very soft and folds up like a 2 dollar suitcase when challenged.

"IF" they get into the tourney it will be 1 and done for Floyd the barber and co.

The better team won.

That was one of our worst games all year, and we still beat you guys on your floor. And BTW, Demar Derozan is no OJ Mayo. Heck, he isn't even a Gabe Pruitt yet. He might want/have to hang around awhile.

Dawgs showed lot of grit and determination, and seemed to want it more at the end. No question SC has a ton of talent, though. They will be a dangerous team no matter who they play.

SC's players play like they were introduced to each other 5 min before gametime. Bad blood sometimes does that. Hackett and Lewis were probably argueing over who would go first in the NBA draft. Real important stuff on a college team, ya know. And Tim Floyd needs to sober up at least an hour or two earlier. He looked like he's really been on a bender. But I guess coaching all those "5-stars" could do that to a guy.

It's called "team." Huskies have one, Trojans don't. The Trojans have a collection of good players, but they're not a team.

For the past couple of years, Washington has been trying to find its winning ways. After losing out of being invited into the big tournament, never once did any their players blow up, take it out on a fan or a reporter. They dealt with the defeat.
Now USC is feeling the way Washington felt the past few seasons and you can now see the Washington have grown up and USC is still young.
Hackett has a lot of growing up to do.

The Huskies are the #1 team in the Pac-10 and are probably going to win the title as well as the Pac-10 tourney with their superior talent and 9 deep lineup, so I don't know why everyone's so upset that they'd come in and beat us since that's what an awesome team like the UW should do.

The only thing Floyd can do is bring big recruits. He has no idea how create a team out of them. I would rather have lesser recruits playing above their ability than watch another Floyd team waste away. Any big time recruit would be dumb to join this train wreck.

Timmy Floyd is a LOSER! Should have stayed at Iowa St.

Trojans have a stud in the paint in Taj Gibson. He can play with Brockman, Pendergraph, Jordan Hill, anyone in the conference. Outside of him, SC has nothing.

Reggie Bush, O.J. Mayo, now the Hackett "Package Scandal." When are the Pac-10 and the NCAA going to grow some cojones and hit this school with sanctions and probation? Long overdue.

I'm surprised that somehow the author didn't blame Steve Sarkisian for this meltdown...

My favorite was the "professional" play by play work by the FSN crew last night....not sure they could have shoved their noses any further up USC's you know what.

Question for Scott Wolf:

When you are the #6 team in your conference. How can losing to the team leading the conference be one of the most important losses of the season?

Answer: It cant.

Scott your article would read better with less hyperbole and more journalism.

Thanks much.
