Good Luck Miners.

I am really excited about the possibilities next year. It seems like the guys are finally playing together. I am really impressed by Moultrie he is a phenomenal player. Imagine if they win tonight. they would play in the Don again. its like a dream, because we would see Stefon play again at home.

Kill them, Miners. I just wish it were televised for the common folk. Teicher on the radio will be a great substitute, but c'mon. I am a visual kind of guy.

Heres why were gonna win. this tournament is all about money. richmond gets 2400 for their home games we get 8000 plus with the possibility of a sell out if its a championship game. The CBI defenetly wants UTEP to host the Championship its more money and good publicity for the CBI when the stands are full. Look for the refs to take it easy on the Miners today.

UTEP had the possibility to even play in the big dance. I think the team is finally coming around and seeing their full potential. I think a lot of it has to do with the coaching. Barbee is now allowing his players to develop some rhythm before taking them out. I think these guys are fantastic and can win it all with no trouble. Its not rocket science but good chemistry that this team is undoubtedly talented. Just ask Wake Forrest!!! Let them play coach. Go Miners!!!

Should be a great game tonight. Go Miners!

Anyone know what the problem is with Claude Britten and Tavaris Watts? Why aren't they playing in the post season? It doesn't appear to be a bad thing, but I am curious to know why.

Claude has health issues "heart problems" is the word on the street.Wish him a speedy recovery and good health to come. Tavaris Watts was acting like a girl and quit. He'd rather be with his hot girlfriend and his baby, probably playing pick up games for cash at Tobin.

Predictions for tonight 75-69 UTEP
DJ- 25pts. 8 rebounds 2 assist
The Monster- 18pts.12rebounds 1 assist 3 blocks 1 steal
ColdBloodedPepper- 25pts. 4rebounds 3steals
Barbee- good coaching 1 tech.
Randy will probably have a big game the his memphis family might be there so he'll be feeling it.
GO MINERS!!!

UTEP is lucky to be playing in the "Can't Ball Invitational". They're even luckier they don't have to play Pat Summit's Tennessee Vols Girlie Squad.

WOW you must be so proud of yourself for being so creative in coming up with that name "Can't Ball Invitational" How long did that take you all work day? Your just a hater... and know nothing about college basketball...The Lady Vols got knock off quick this year by Ball State they're weak...weaker the excuse you tell yourself everyday to keep you living the measly thing you call a life.

Why no television spot?
If the CBI really wants UTEP to be in the finals then they should be doing everything they can to get the game on the air.
Why has the El Paso stations dropped the ball?
As for the quitter, he can stay at home and his name should not be mentioned again for quitting the team.
GO UTEP!!!

Actually, Little Hen, I am aware of the loss to Ball-less State. THAT'S WHY I said UTEP was lucky NOT to have to play them. Because yesterday Pat Summit had them practicing the day following their elimination. That was the FIRST time they were eliminated from the SWEET 16 in the last 27 years! Has JUTEP played in the Sweet 16 in the last 27 years? Coach Summit will get them back to the top next year -- a place UTEP will bed hard pressed to EVER reach. No, I'm not a hater. I am a realist. Plus I know how to spell when I blog. Did you flunk English at Hillcrest?
