Game experience. All teams "not ivited" to the NCAA tournament should jump at a chance to play in the NIT. You don't get to be better team by lounging at the beach.

I could not resist answering that comment. UCF's engineering school is one of the best in the country. UCF is the LARGEST undergraduate university in the Southeastern United States. Only the graduate students at UF push UF past UCF in total student numbers. UCF has an 85% graduation rate for students in six years. As many, many of UCF's students work while going to school, that is an exemplary record.

Besides that, it is a beautiful campus not cut into pieces by city streets. They offer shuttles to move students to class. They have an exceptional security force to care for their most important commodity-- the students.

They also have a President who has an open door. John Hitt is NEVER too busy to counsel a student or meet a parent.

UCF just might be the best University in the United States.

You need to reexamine your priorities.

I agree. I have never been on a campus where I have met so many courteous, friendly, and helpful people. Students AND staff.

I have watched UCF students stop and pick up litter from the ground and place it in the trash containers. UCF is one of the cleanest, most beautiful campuses I have ever seen.

I wonder how a story about Gator BBall got to be about UCF? I am happy for our younger brothers to be successfull in both the classroom and on the field as long as it does not hurt the Gators!!!

UCF is a third-tier college in academics and athletics. That's great that you and other UCF kids take pride in your school, but don't kid yourself that the school is any better than you think it is. Your not even the best graduate business school in town.

ucf is a good school but still not beter than UF. academicaly there may be some programs that are better like engineering but overall most top high school seniors would choose UF. you dont hear of people being mad that they didnt get into ucf. athletically its no contest and its not even worth debating. ucf should be happy with what it has and stop all this napoleanic complex!

UCF fans have a very hard time playing second fiddle to UF, FSU, Miami, and now USF in their own town. It was the same thing I saw when I lived and worked in Houston when Houston Cougar students and alumni were bitter that Texas, Texas Tech, & Texas A&M would dominate the local conversation on academics and sports over the in-town school. Funny, both UCF and Houston are in the same conference. I'm sure UAB students and alumni also play second fiddle to Alabama and Auburn too.
