As a Kentucky fan it makes me very happy(and a little embarased for UF) to hear that your supposed floor leader is happy with the NIT. In the off chance that you win it make sure you hang the banner next to all of your NCAA Tournament appearance banners. You guys actually have banners for tournament appearances hanging in the O-dome! We wouldn't have room for them in Rupps rafters.

Why make this about UK? Did I miss their honorable mention in the article?

UF is clearly rebuilding. And their young. BTW. Would you care to compare UK's history to UCLA's? In otherwords, your a jerk.

It's simple. It's generally called "flights". NCAA football has it they are called "Bowl Games".

Other sports such as MLB,NFL,PGA and horse racing go to a "playoff system" OR "handicap system"...It all leads to keeping the weaker teams competitive and involved...Much like I'm doing to you right now.

Why are you commenting on thing you know nothing about?

Nice to see Mr KY Jelly his pinky finger extended, has nothing better to do than bash the back to back NCAA champions. You lose 5 starters & do as well as the gators this year. Nice one & done for the kitties.KY is in for another down year losing it's top 2 guards. Go eat some blue grass...Go Gators!

Why mention UK? Well....maybe because UK and Florida are in the same conference and the same division. In case you donít know itís the SEC East and UF finished 4th. Now ÖI would be happy to compare UK to UCLA. I would also welcome comparisons to Duke, North Carolina, Kansas and Indiana. It feels good to be in company such as thatÖ.but youíll have to take my word for it.

UCLA is much, much better than KY this year. As is Kansas, Duke and North Carolina. And didn't KY finish in 2nd place in the East, and actually finish with a worse overall record than UF? Exactly where does this smack-talk come from, seeing how KY did this year, last year and the year before? But congrats on winning most of your titles in the 40s and 50s. Those were the days, right?

I understand your envy. Ever since Donavan took over at UF, there has been a shift in power in the SEC from the once great Kentucky program to UF. Sure, it's a down year but you guys haven't had a quality season in a long time and it appears your days are long over. Maybe you can get Patino back.

Power Shift?? Do you know what started this post....UF is in the NIT!!! The NIT for God's sake....you call getting to the NIT a POWER SHIFT? I call getting to the NIT a lot of things but power shit is not one of them. Too funny.

No comparsions...but if I apply some logic I've read in prior posts I can make the claim that since Kentucky beat then number 1 LSU that there has been a major "power shift" in the SEC. I know (or believe) that it takes decades to create a dynasty....not two years.

I'm just curious, what is it exactly that Kentucky accomplished this year??? [email protected]@Hole! You were a #11 seed and got knocked out by Marquette, and look who's being talked about right now. If it wasn't for your sorry [email protected]@, no one would be talking about Kentucky, so move on loser!

UK has been unable to duplicate the foosketball achievement (BCS & Final 4) that L'ville, UF, Kansas, LSU, Ohio State, Texas, & Oklahoma have earned this decade. UK had a good season in football, but it's going to take a lot for them get back to the Final 4 and their 1st BCS bowl game.

UK is a great hoops program with a rich tradition and legacy, but it's a whole different ballgame from the days of Adolf Rupp and John Wooden.
