Great article -- everyone seems to forget that this Purdue was picked to win the Big 10 and began the season in the top 5. Now that they're reasonably healthy, it should be a surprise that they beat Wash and made it to the sweet 16. Yet, the national media, outside the midwest, acts like they've never heard of this team?! I mark it down to the pro-Big East, pro-ACC basketball culture at ESPN, the worst thing to happen to sports other than NASCAR.

Where's poster Tom who said Purdue might not get past UNI?
Who said he would give respect when it's due?
It's due. Give it up.

UConn will be a test, that's for sure. But if Purdue can beat them, it is SO on.
The scary part is the core of this team is 3 sophomores, and I don't think they really lose anyone else of consequence next year for that matter...
GO BIG TEN.
