New Site, New Dates, New Days Announced for 2009 Chiro Games---
Board Agrees to Two-Year Deal in Cocoa Beach

President Obama campaigned on a platform of “Change” and the Chiro Games Board of Directors listened. In a year of transition, the board has announced the 2009 Chiro Games will be played in Cocoa Beach, Florida beginning Saturday, Nov. 7, and will conclude with championship games Sunday, Nov. 8, on the “Space Coast.” While many details will be announced in coming weeks, the games will feature 11 sports (including co-ed competition in beach volleyball, softball, running, tennis and swimming). Men’s sports include golf, flag football, soccer and basketball, while women’s sports include soccer and basketball. The board is also considering adding a new sport, but details are not yet available.
