Wolves eye impact player in draft

The Minnesota Timberwolves don't have much money to spend in free agency this summer and few desirable contracts to use as trade bait to improve the team.

Until the Wolves get rid of Kevin McFail, they are doomed to fail. Glen Taylor has remained loyal to Kevin for way too long. The Wolves are the worst franchise ever to call Minnesota home and it will only get worse. We deserve much more than the inferior product the Wolves put on the floor.

Thank you. I say make Fred Hoiberg GM/vice president, let him replace McHale. Sorry, McHale, it's 2 late to try to fix everything.

Sorry Fred - no such thing as a good luck charm. If there was - a team would never lose a game if they found the (right one). Think about it. Luck & superstition is all BALONEY with a capital B! Their draw will be the same no matter what Fred does or brings with him this coming week. Let's hope the T-Wolves get the #1 pick - they need all the help they can get!!

Agree with you 100%. However, I think Fred Hoiberg would make a great GM, whether he brings good luck charm to the draft or not.

If you believe in Area 51 and the demolition theory of the fall of the Twin Towers -- both plausible to an extent -- you might also want to believe that David Stern, who appears to have rigged several past draft lotteries (can you say, "Patrick Ewing" and "Knicks" in the same sentence?) will give the Wolves their reward this time for sending KG to Boston for some spare parts. I, personally, bet it's going to happen. If we can make Danny "brain type" Ainge into the exec of the year, anything is possible. Come on, David, put your stickum or ice or whatever on the Woffie's ping pong balls. It's our turn. Let us bury the ghost of Christian Laettner once and for all.

I'll take anyone over McFail, but what makes you believe Fred would do any better. I'm not saying Fred would succeed or fail, but who has he been working under? McFail. I think we need to clean house with all the front office & coaching staff(a new owner would be an added bonus). Why don't we go after Grep Popovich with a boatload of money or someone from the Pistons. I think Milwaukee hired Dumars assistant G.M. Former players aren't always the answer for important positions, especially with little or no experience(Steve Kerr etc). I like what the Knicks did in hiring Donnie Walsh to rebuild. Like I said earlier, anyone's better than the current person.

I've always wondered why it takes teams like the Lakers 2 years to rebuild and be a contender and teams like the Wolves; it's a lifelong project??

It doesn't matter who the Wolves get or take in the draft because the franchise is doomed....dooommmmmed........y our all dooooooooomed........With McHale at the helm the Wolves ship will sink and all will be lost.
Nostradamus said so
The Horoscopes say so
Edgar Cayce says so
My crystal ball says so
Even the Mayan Calendar says so
As long as Minnesota is run by McHale the franchise is dooooooooommmmmmmed.
