Nobody cares about watching overpaid athletes bounce a ball. Without the associated gambling these "roll model" atheletes would be making minimum wage.

Oh the season is starting late, so what?

That's not what the idiot fans think. I stopped watching sports when they hit $2,000,000 mark. It felt like an insult to real working people.

It isnít for real working people anymore. It just solidifies how important people have made money. The scale no longer identifies in priority family at top, in fact family may not even be on the list. It simply reads on any given day;
ME
MONEY
GREED

Screw the NBA. Test the 'role models' for marijuana and maybe I'll care again. Probably not.....

They might cancel the whole season but some of them are still going to have to be paid because of their contracts.

Sadly, no harm - financial or otherwise - will befall NBA players or owners.

Why?

Because ignorant, brainless, grovelling, athlete-worshipping fans will simply rush back to the NBA arenas once the owners and players finally agree on how they're going to divvy up the fans' and advertisers' money.

MLB shuts down. Stupid fans come back.
The NFL shuts down. Stupid fans come back.
The NHL shuts down. Stupid fans come back.
The NBA shuts dowm. Stupid fans come back.

We've been down this road with all the major professional sports leagues before, and idiot fans ALWAYS come back and ALWAYS hand over more of their money to greedy billionaire owners and millionaire players.

You're wrong! No play, no pay as long as the lockout is in effect.

Several players are expected to sign on with the Harlem Globetrotters and forget about the NBA.
