Arenas barred without salary

This guy isn't sorry at all; he is just saying what he is being advised to say publicly now that consequences are looming. If the average person brought in a firearm to work and put it on display he/she would certainly be fired immediately. Making a public spectacle of yourself in the aftermath during an ongoing investigation is stupid beyond comprehension. The NBA should do what any other business would do; throw him out for good. I understand that nobody was hurt, but workplaces still have rules to follow.
This only magnifies the image problem that the NBA cannot shake loose; until they stop using the kid gloves with their employees it will only continue. I had stopped watching the NBA in the late nineties, due in part to the boring nature of the pro game and due in part to the way that some of the players would conduct themselves. I am a big fan of the college game and like basketball; I was just starting to gradually warm up to the pro game little by little but after this I can't justify investing my time, attention-span, and any money into such an entity. Really this league deserves to fold.

Make an example out of him, put him next to Plaxico Burress in prison.
