It's time to offer Favre 25 million to play next year. His title can be quarterback/assistant coach.

Couldn't disagree with you more Charlie.....do some homework on the Moss debacle....it is being reported the CHILLY acted ALONE....WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE WILFS, AND THE WILFS ARE VERY UPSET!!!!!
The true antidote is getting rid of our poisonous coach, who is the worst gameday decision-make I HAVE EVER SEEN!! Our rented coach has ruined OUR TEAM!!!!

Its hard to beleive that Chilli is still here after his performances as a coach. Is he now destroying what was a smooth offence under Favre last year( his excuse maybe injuries but none the less) and tell me about an outstanding defense that can't stop anybody when it counts and can't sack a QB. Is he the one that won't allow blitzes and more pressure on the QBs'. If not then he is indeed the head coach as he is out to prove to eveybody so make some changes and start. Did anybody see the double A blitzes used at times by the Colts to hammer the Texans QB? Something sure as h*** has changed here. Get rid of this bum and maybe salvage the season.

Maybe Chilli is correct for getting rid of him.........but WHY DID WE GIVE UP A #3 PICK TO GET HIM THEN?????????? Like paying for a car and driving it in the ditch..........

Punk? Do you know what the word punk means? You've gone above and beyond. You may not like him but you should respect his manhood. He was fined for not talking and when he did talk (truthfuly I might add) He was waived. Childress is an IDIOT. There were problems before Moss and without him the season is done. You need to get out of that old white man mode where if a black man speaks his mind he is poison. Show some class. You need to be waived!!!!

You were right on when we played ball in the '70s and you're right on now. Moss is a contagious disease and you have the courage to say it. He has no heart, sad case.

Hey, Shooter: Randy Moss is NOT a punk! He had the guts to articulate what most of the Vikings players already feel: Childress is a lightweight loser compared to Belichick. Zygi totally blew it. If it weren't for Favre, Klink would already be toast. Wake up, Zygi. Now the fans will join the Vikings players who have already GIVEN UP ON CHILDRESS!!

As much as Moss is a problem Childress should have known this and not weakened the future by giving away another draft pick for nothing. I am a season ticket holder for 7 years and this has been as embarasing as any other thing including the love boat and the walker trade. I believe Childress is acting alone on this and humilating the franchise and fans. I drive 4 hours a day from Wisconsin to see them play and will not be renueing my seats for next year as long as there is no change at the top. I live in Wisconsin and remember when he was the offensive co. here and was not very good at his job outside of handing off behind very goog olines as hisnplay calling was as bad as it is now. Mr Wilf, please bring in someone who can make the franchise respectable and not one of the laughing stocks of the league. IT IS TIME THE SEASON TICKET HOLDERS START TO LET TE OWNERSHIP KNOW THAT WE ARE TIRED OF WATCHING SUB PAR EFFORTS FROM THE TEAM AND BELOW AVERAGE COACHING FOR THE OUTRAGOUS TICKET PRICES. pUT QUALITY AND RESPECT BACK IN THE VIKINGS ORGANAZATION

Ziggy can't afford to have the Vikings have success. He needs them out of Minnesota and in LA where they will be worth millions more. And Chilly is just the right coach for failure. It only makes sense(and dollars) for Ziggy to keep this moron around.
the rams and raiders were worth so much in L A they both moved

The different opinions on Chili I can't debate because it's like religion and politics you can't win and no one is right.
As far as Moss goes Charlie's right, Moss is a PUNK, CANCER and IDIOT all rolled into one and those who want to debate know nothing about team sports!
I know the funny thing to do is be in the Rip Charlie Club but I don't see any of you working for the paper, just because once every week or so you take 2 or 3 hours to try to come up with some whitty Rip doesn't make you funny or right......GROW UP!

Just imagine if the Patriots picked up Randy Moss again. Man that would be bad because Vikings got played and owned by the Pats if that happens. Its like they just robbed us and the cops won't even help us. FIRE CHILLY ALREADY!! If i have to see that moron walk the vikings sideline one more time, i think i'm gonna puke!

Remember, Wilf brought Col. Klunkhead in to be a disciplinarian after the loose ship Tice ran. Plus he has the personality of a dried prune, beside being an ego-driven maniac. Not a good recipe for another ego-driven personality wide receiver to be traded for. That marriage had to fail, which it did with a thud. In the meantime the Vikes lost a 3rd round draft pick, possibly on the hook for the rest of Moss's 3.4 million dollar contract and Klunkhead ends up looking like a fool that everyone knows he is.
With the exception of the owner who you have to wonder about at times.
What a shame the expectations this year were so great, only to see everything come crashing down.
The Vikings may have trouble staying out of last place in their division as the crumbling of the walls of this franchise continues.

An Open Letter to Brad Childress:
Mr. Childress, when you agreed to bring Moss back I thought for a second you finally got it: it's not about you, dude, it's about your fan base. Without us, nobody is getting these ridiculous salaries including you, Mr. In-Over-Your-Head. Moss was a fan favorite, and then he spoke the truth about your idiot coaching patterns so you dumped him? Meanwhile, our QB is getting pummeled and wishing he stayed home, and your fan base is forgetting your 1 nearly-successful season and remembering that you are a bumbling idiot on the sidelines. Les Frazier deserves a coaching job in this state. I actually hope he ends up saving the Golden Jokesters, but I would settle for him taking your job tomorrow.
Please realize, that, in all honesty, nobody cares about your b.s.'culture of accountability'. Every time I hear it, I want to punch you in the mouth. Yes, congratutlations, nobody on your team has hired some hookers and gone boating...but it's not really that impressive to bring a bit of professionalism to your job...so stop patting yourself on the back. It is 1/3 of your job. Another 1/3 is finding good players. The other 1/3 is winning games and championships. So far, you've managed 2/3 in each of your seasons. If I were to do that at my job, I would be unemployed. So get your resume ready. Mr. Wilf has a ton of money that you seem to be wasting, and the fans of the Vikings want their lost season back. You've wasted Adrian Peterson's career to this point. Please don't waste any more of our time. The right move would be to step down and walk away. Admit fault with the fact that you've taken a team stocked with Pro Bowl talent managed to make them losers. They deserve better. We deserve better.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Fan
PS: Man, I really think you are a BUM!!!!
Amen. As good as AP is right now, I don't think we've even seen close to the peak of his abilities yet. Unfortunately, with that bald headed bum on the sidelines calling the shots, we won't ever see what AP's really capable of. Its a total mis-usage of talent and personel with chilly. Some retarted moves he's made this year. Drafted Gerhart instead of offensive lineman and just signing either Brian Westbrook or even a Willie Parker to be backup to AP. Sending three guys down to missisipi to sweet talk grandpa Farve back into action so now he can't even bench the guy. Traded Darius Reynaud to the Giants and made Butter Berrian our punt returner, what a joke that was. Benching Terrel Johnson when it should have been Madieu Williams that should get benched. Trading Benny Sapp to the Dolphins for a receiver who doesn't even play most of the time, and putting Asher can't tackle allen in Sapp's spot. Trading for Randy Moss and GIVING AWAY a 3rd round pick and then releasing moss in pretty much a month's time. How many more chances is this clown going to get? Its like George Bush back in office all over again with this bum. Fire Chilly already.
