My prediction for this team is that the cruise through the Big Ten winning the conference and then go on to win the national championship. Or, they end up being a middle of the road Big Ten team, squeek into the NCAA tournament, before losing in the first round.

What are you smoking?
Until Giant ego "Chilly" is gone the Vikings will not be in a Super Bowl.

Bland Bilicheck of the Patriots got all he needed from Moss. Of course he is smart and know how to control players egos by not letting his ego get in the way.

Sorry Chuck, but that analysis of Wilf having Childress's back in battle with Favre doesn't hold water. If it wasn't for Favre, Childress would have had an average (.500) year in 2009, and he would have been toast at year's end. What's more, both Childress and Favre know this.

If Wilf likes the idea of throwing away a third round pick for a guy who plays four games because the coach (who's already lost control of the rest of his team) can't control a guy he was willing to trade for just four weeks ago? The problem is a clueless coach, not the player.

Hey Zygi, if you want a new stadium now, you're going to need a new head coach. Otherwise, you can forget it with this idiot running the show.

I am so fed up!!! We were season ticket holders but gave them up when Childress was hired for reasons we are seeing here & now. I was not happy with Moss's performance on the field yesterday against the Patriots, nor after the game when he was kissing all their butts or during the press conference but you do not go & release him because of this. We have given up a 3rd round pick for him, how ridiculous is this Childress!? We also have the same defensive players as last year & now look at them, not a sack in 3 games, looking down, depressed etc.... This is coaching!!!! They nor most of the fans have any respect for this man and I don't understand why Zigy Wilf doesn't let him go?? We need to do something now or it will be to late! I have been a Viking fan for over 30 years & I can't imagine losing them but if this continues how will we ever get any support for a stadium or anything else? Wake up Zigy & do what you have to do, fire CHILDRESS!!!! & get us a real head coach! Frustrated!

When 5 out of 6 plays the other team seems to know exactly what your are doing on both sides of the ball, that would be coaching.

When at least one offensive lineman gets beat on every play, that would be play design which would be coaching. Not to mention your qtr back won't survive a game unless he's an iron man.

That's why the Vikes will never win a Super Bowl because the people behind the players are the ones making the bad decisions. Fire Childress!!

Zygi Wilf made three rookie mistakes when he took over control of the Vikings: 1. The horrid "Bring in the Horns" team song, 2. The ugly NFL Europa-style uniforms, and 3. Hiring Brad Childress. The song is gone, and the uniforms will be when Nike redesigns them. Now let's get rid of Childress and get the organization on the right track.

That first paragraph was very Sid like. Sucking up to the coach and berating a person after they are gone. Well done.

Well, Zygi has gotten one of his wishes. He wished he would be the talk of everyone's lips in the NFL. Too bad everyone is talking and laughing about his, so called, "football" team.

Probably the most idiotic piece I have read in a long, long time. Let's see: when were the Vikes good this season? Stop using Moss as a scapegoat. Chilly, had one "good" season with teams full of talent. How much more talent does he need to win? the Marcus Robinsons, Taylor's Birks, etc..could not be wrong, this guy cant coach. Moss assisted in Harvin's production considerably. Just idiotic.

Yes fire Childress. The defense is the same as last year and the replacement you want is running that defense. The offense is bland but also being run by an int-machine. Why not speak of the GM Speilman for putting this aging team on the field. The window shut last year and you are seeing old players keeping down the young players on this team. Move half the team to the nursing home and let Childress run his system.

The owner needs to take off those glasses.
Can't he see what is really going on with this
coach and staff. Favre does need to chill and
stop talking about his past success in healing
up and that he is a medical wonder. That gets
old and everybody gets sick of hearing it. Why
did they get Moss when he hasn't even been
included in the game. What were they saving him
for? Why use Gerhart in running plays at
crucial times when it is Peterson who can get
the yards? This team has fell apart and the
coach and staff is the reason. The players have
lost their will and winning attitude. Somebody
has to take the blame for that. Players should
be allowed to speak out. We all have opinions
and their opinions should be the ones that
matter most. They are the guys that know what
is really going on in that locker room.
