Typical..big jock marries a supermodel or celebrity. I lost the bet with co-workers..I said it wouldn't go 2 years..guess they were more optimistic than me 'cos they guessed 4. But the deal is typical..it's all a flash in the pan..they marry for looks and/or money and give no thought to honoring God's plan for marriage. I wouldn't doubt that their respective agents did it all for publicity. Such a sham and a shame.

As a Latino man, I can't stand it when some actress like Eva Longoria starts talking politic's like she's speaking out for every Latino. Same thing goes for George Lopez. I don't know or care why she is getting divorced, but I hope her axe wound rots.

Marriage is antiquated! We all know this hence the rate of divorce now being higher than the rate of marriage! Those who are still married, I guarantee are in sucky relationships and are together for the kids or the house and money. The funny thing is we end up getting married over and over as though somehow, magically our problems will go away. AND each time we marry, we say to ourselves; "I have found THE ONE, FINALLY!" lol!
. Jack don't show your ignorance by equating marriage with antiquity. What you fail to realize is that the essence of marriage is two people unselfishly living with one another with God very much a part of the marriage. If any of this is absent in the marriage it will break because it has no real value to hold it together: Unselfishness and God in the marriage each step of the way. This is the Sacrament of Marriage and has nothing to do with antiquity, but then in California that seems to be something hard to understand, isn't it?

In my experience those marriages held together by religion tend to be the most antiquated with men expecting their women to do most of the child rearing and household duties. What's worse these days is that yes, while contemporary religious men may be accepting of their wives working, the wives are STILL maintaining their old roles, and much of this in the name of that religion! I still maintain my stance....

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Scorpio

Don't believe everything you see today and your memory could be playing tricks on you, too. You might remember things in a distorted or false way, through no fault of your own. You may also be reading too much into the situations that are going on around you, making it hard for you to know what's really happening. Try not to make any big decisions today because you simply aren't thinking straight.
