The Lakers played sloppy defense(which is not new!), so they deserve to lose this game.

Is it just me, or is Mr. Bynum not as hungry to score now, as he was before signing his big contract? He just seems to stand in one place and watch everyone else move...

Yep, Kobe did his best to bring his team mentally up and make some excellent shots in the 4th. But the dance was premature. I'm sure the Fakers and their fans will blame it on fouls that were called that weren't, but that was a 2 way street. But all in all, it was an excellent game. I was wondering why Kobe & gang didn't do the Faker dance as they were walking back to the locker room at the end. GO-SPURS-GO!

Excellent game . To bad we couldnt pull it off , but overall it was a great game for the fans , NBA and tv Ratings . Throughout the game the spurs were playing good B-ball , until the end of the 3rd quarter going into the 4th , we (LAKERS) took over , spurs couldnt keep up "No AnSWer " for the KobeStEr ... He totally dominated the game at the end ... Spurs are getting OLD!!!!! U could see it they they won't be a mach for us in the playoffs or any other time ....

Ps : we own the spurs

Lakers I love, unrealistic expectations I can not. Kobe is a great player, but his decision-making leaves something to be desired, often. And Andy? We know, you got fouled. Let it go.

Lakers gave that game away, and while the last play was a foul, no way you get that call. They didn't play well all night. The Spurs blow by the way.

I wish the Lakers protest the ending to the game. It was a awful call by the Official. The Lakers should have won that game. I guess it was payback from the Fisher/Barry event. You don't make those calls at the end of a game on Ariza, it was clearly shown that Manu tripped him. It should have been a foul called.

"To be sure, the Lakers weren't pleased by the call against Derek Fisher, which sent Mason to the free-throw line for the winning point. " I am not an expert in basketball rules but it was not only Lakers many believe except the Spurs and their fans, it was offensive foul and Ariza was tripped it should have been foul. In the end, the Spurs got help from referees. Period!

if that's the case then the NBA should take a look at this one too after that send a press release if the correct non-call was legit

if it where chauncy billups last shot , or kobe or lebron that would have been a foul and w2e would have won by 1 point on a .8 on the clock but kobe pass the ball, so to me its not just the official's fault but kobe too

Yes they did. Whatever, the Lakers didn't play a lick of defense until midway through the 4th. Had they played that way all night, we would be talking about missed foul calls.

I will say this, if Ginobili had made the play Ariza did at the end of the game, it would have been called a foul.

It just goes to show, when you're on the road, you can't let a game go down to the final seconds.

So does that mean that the foul on Fisher and the no call at the end of the game were make up calls from last season's playoffs? Sure seems like it.
