It's funny to read the Blazers forums and see how desperately they don't want Turk.
He's got a face only a mother could love, and skills to match it. |

Why stay with Orlando when your minutes per game is limited. Signed with the rockets and get more minutes on the court to prove yourself for what you are worth.

Healthy Jameer>Alston VC>HEDO Battie was getting old and barely played for us anymore. He lost his jump shot that used to be money. Gortat as good as he was only played backup C for 10 minutes a game to DH and CLee... well I HATE HATE HATE losing him because that kid is a star in the making but we did get a nice young PF in that deal from NJ so we'll see how that one works out. Really if we can get Rasheed he takes the place of Gortat and Battie easily in my mind. He will play more minutes, his jumper is still there and hes every bit as good on the boards as either one of the ones we lost. |

To my Friend Marcin.
Yes… a friend is more than someone you interact with on a regular basis; it’s also someone who knows you and cares deeply about you. It is on that basis that I write to you. But... How would someone develop such a relationship with someone one hasn’t even met? And more importantly; why? Here’s where I must tell you a bit about me and my family, and please bear with me while I explain. You see, Marcin; I suffered a devastating attack of Polio back when I was 5, which left me almost completely paralyzed from the neck down. I spent the next two years in different hospitals… a LOT of time, staring at the ceiling, from my bed. Now, as you can probably think, this can make even the strongest man go bunkers. But for the music… It was the music, Marcin. The music kept me sane and whole. My parents used to whistle and sing; everything from pop to classical, then, the Beatles. Their music just made my soul soar! I learned to be observant, got to know and appreciate the talent, the personal worth of other people. I “learned” how to walk again, and how to DISCOVER other people. Years later, I also discovered the Truth about God, what the Bible calls,“the Way”–Acts 9:2; 22:4. I write to you today, because I have come to KNOW you and your dilemma as an NBA player in free agency. And as a true UNDERDOG, I too have felt like a stranger in a foreign land… it’s hard, VERY hard. You have two options right now… You could leave the Magic and sign a juicy 5-7 million contract with some other, rebuilding team. It would give you a chance to start, develop YOUR game faster. Heck... that team automatically becomes a playoff contender! Or… you could take 4-5 million and stay with the Magic. Just as I followed your NBA career during the days when Stan would say that you were NOT ready to play in the NBA, just two years ago (time DOES fly!); I also foretold everyone who cared to hear, about your inevitable break-out, which EVERYONE witnessed this year. NOW, suddenly everyone WANTS you! Portland, NY, even Huston. This last one, just shows you what’s REALLY behind al this sudden interest. They are DESPERATE for a center, and NOW they want you! But you see, as I tell my two daughters; you BELONG to US. You, Marcin Gortat are PART of our FAMILY, AND of the greater family of Orlando, a small, but dynamic city, full of joy and the desire to carve for itself a niche in Sports history, to FEEL proud of itself and grow into something better. Just like yourself, Marcin. See; I also taught my daughters to always cheer for the UNDERDOG. Redick, Lee and you… that’s what you MEANT to US… OUR underdogs. For more than one HUNDRED days this year, we cheered you on; let you into OUR home, into our hearts… I will be straight with you: Playing with the Magic WILL mean playing backup to Howard, fewer minutes; but just for a short time. When you develop that mid-range jumper of yours, have that short running hook shot down pat, THEN Stan will start playing the TWIN TOWERS option, just like Huston once did. While I was greatly saddened by the loss of C. Lee, I must admit it SHOWED the Team’s RESOLVE, it’s COMMITMENT to winning it all. The Magic will be truly formidable. Which brings me to my last point. You WANT to win a championship. The Magic are THIS close to winning our FIRST Championship… EVER! Of all the teams you could play for; the Magic gives you the BEST shot at making this a reality. The Magic ARE ready… NOW! The question is… are you? PLEASE,Marcin… be part of this celebration; OUR moment in time… and YOURS too! Stay in Orlando. |

So u see the future! Great! U are amazing! Bad passes? Multiple turnovers? I guess u don't remember the past.... That guy is 6.10 and played as a point guard, if he is so bad, how come Orlando made it to the finals? Check his stats, check what he did first... |

I hope you're right!! |

I can't wait to see VC blow up in your face, he is a folder and has no real heart. Have fun backing your mouth up. |

Daggone! The Sentinel is dropping Topix for their forum. Topix was good because you could reply to specific posts. Now we are going to the lousy one that Cleveland and all the other papers have. |

I will admit I like the way the comments are set up on this sight. If it goes then I probable will too. Sure you won't lose any sleep over that but I don't like to comment where everyone agrees with me I like a good argument. |
