Incite? That video had no impact on the crowd. That foul was on everyone's mind already. Maybe what shouldn't be done is to hit someone on the head when they have a breakaway layup when you are behind by 30 points.

I was at both the game in which Rudy was injured, and this game, the replay did nothing to incite me. I remember what happened, we booed Ariza, which LA fans would have done too. No one wanted him injured, or wanted blood. We did let him know what we thought of what he did.

As for the video, it may have been wrong, but it did nothing to incite the crowd further.

We already have a thing about beating LA, more than any team in the league, the crowd will always be amped.

Laker Nation has spewed since the Rudy foul that it was just a "hard foul," and that Ariza did not try to intentionally injure Rudy. The league agreed by not suspending or fining Ariza for the hit. So by default every one except Portland fans have accepted the fact that this is a non issue, correct? If so, how could a non issue incite a crowd? To think Phil and Laker fans would be concerned about a video of a hard foul inciting a crowd is laughable.

I love reading posts like:
"lakers are 1st. where do the blazers stand? "

Both teams are going to be 0-0 in a couple of days.

You'd better stop thinking about the regular season and start hoping that you don't play Portland in the playoffs, because we are the team that has beaten you the last two times we played, and we're getting stronger and better as the season progressed.

Yes, you're right, driftgrandma. The team that has committed two flagrant fouls that put guys out of games "has more class." I only hope that some thug hacks Kobe when the lakers are up 30 and he misses games like Rudy or Gerald Wallace. I believe the phrase is "what goes around, comes around."
