Dish to FCC: Comcast blocking Philly sports access
#1 Aug 15, 2010
I live in fla now, I was raised in philly and can't get the philly sports, unless I change from disk to direct tv. I thought that when they broke up at&t for a monoply, that comcast would fall under that same situation with brocasting and owning a company in the same sport. I don't see how comcast says it isn't hurting dish network, when you have to drop dish in order to see philly teams on direct tv. I know the republicans eased in some admenment (2000-2008)to allow comcast to monoplize and break antitrust laws that was setup to stop companies from having to much power over a market, like comcast has over basketball and football sports, owning two or three teams and the broadcasting rights to those sports and managing from the outside, demanding that ed snyder fired billy king, since they held the purse strings over ed snyder's head.
