Shades of last year

Full story: TwinCities.com

Since before the start of training camp, the Timberwolves have insisted things would be different this season, but so far it looks depressingly familiar.

If we had a new stadium that would help us greatly. With that said, Coach Wittman and I are working on a 5 year plan to get us to a .500 team.

Although I share some of your frustrations with the team not being able to close out games, as I have witnessed a few of these collapse in person as a partial season ticket holder. I have to say that you need to give these guys a chance and when they do end up making playoffs in a few years, don't come asking me for my playoff tickets. I wish more Minnesota fans were loyal to their teams. In 2004 you guys were raving about the T-Wolves and now that they are rebuilding, you think they need to move, kinda like the Twins a few years ago when MLB they wanted to move the franchise. Now that the Twins have been competitive for the last 5 years you guys are back on that bandwagon. Some day Minneapolis will be a 'real' city with loyal fans.

miller, collins and cardinal for marbury.

can someone again tell me why chamblers (sp) was sent to the heat ?
if wolves own heat first, wouldn't they want the heat to not have a point guard and have their worst possible season, so the pick would be higher ?

The wolves will finish at the bottom of the league and get rewarded for the first overall pick of the draft, but hey, don't get excited, because they will trade that good draft to another subpar player who would not enhance their standing in the following years. So get used to this boring team and their incompetant management for many years to come, unless Taylor has sold this team to somebody willing to succeed.

A little harsh. I would think they can get one more at least.

The season is over two weeks into it. This team will be lucky to get 10K fans in after 40 games. Everybody knows Wittman and McHale both suck except the owner. His stubborness in firing both fools is now pissing off all of the fans. Allen for Marbury, Roy for Foye, Mayo for Love, 5 1st round picks for Joe Smith. Brilliant. AND HE STILL HAS A JOB!!!!!!!!!! Wake up Taylor and fire McHale and Wittman. The fans want McHale fired, do not let him retire. We want blood.

You are crazy. McHale could have the first 5 picks of the next 3 drafts and not hit on one player and the ones that he does, he would trade for a stiff. Wow, you are clueless. So that is the mindset that allows someone to continue to purchase season tickets for the Wolves. Playoffs? Playoffs? Did you say playoffs? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Capricorn

Don't take any risks when handling your finances today, because there are strange things going on. Someone may not be as straightforward and honest as usual, or can't explain themselves properly, which leads to misunderstandings and false assumptions. If you're spending money, make sure you're charged the right price and given the correct change. And don't let your wallet or purse out of your sight, in case you mislay it or someone nabs it.
