I doubt that Brighthouse reads these comments, but now I know it's time to switch to Direct! Good bye Notsobrighthouse!

If the Majic want to fill up this new arena being built, I think it is within their best intrests to pump up their fan base. What better way than to broadcast as many games as they can? It is hard to get interested in a sport that you cannot watch very often.
What better way to fill up seats than not making all the games available in the local area!

YD Seminole said it best "Sport makes money because of fans. If you can't watch your team than you lose interest and do not pay for them to play, it's that simple."

Two years ago I was a avid Magic fan. I went to 4 or 5 games and never missed a game except the late west coast games. If there was something else on TV on game nights, that something else got taped.

Last year, after the Magic sold out us fans for more profit, I didn't go to a game. I still watched the Magic games that were on Brighthouse unless there was something else on TV. It's a shame, my grandson doesn't even care about the Magic anymore and he just turned 14.

The Magic has a good team but they will only get the fans who love just winners and as soon as they start losing these fans will be gone. Only this time us die hard fans will not be there to pick them up.

Magic must step up and resolve this situation before the season starts.

Very few seats for $12.00 plus a person usually has to pay to park their car.

10 dollar seats for every game, plenty of available seats. Fact.

The only good thing that can come from this is if the Magic decide to produce games on the cheap: Dante & Galante calling games!

In my opinion brighthouse is just not a good cable company. Not only because of this situation but other things like no NFL Network and limited HD programming. I am a Dish Network subscriber now and I couldnt be happier with the service and quality of programming.

Absolutely true. Have you ever been in those seats for a game, however? I actually sat in the highest possible seats for a game once. I had my back to the concrete wall of the arena.

Rather than sit in some of the cheaper seats where you need an oxygen tank and a Sherpa guide to escort you, I would rather watch it at a friendly local sports bar (or at home if BHN is showing it).

Your local sports bar has a better return on investment for the games: Parking is easier, drinks are cheaper, it is WAY more comfortable (I've seen child safety seats bigger than those in Amway Ctr!), and so on.

If I had season tickets at Amway for the lower bowl, the atmosphere for the games would off-set the inconveniences and discomfort suggested above.

I switched to DirecTV late last year and it's pretty good. I dislike that don't have OnDemand but overall, getting to watch all the Magic games and a majority of the Rays games is worth it.

why does anyone who cares, still have BrightHouse? if there was a mass exodus, things would change!

Wow, the sentinel is trying to tell 3 business how to run themselves. That is rich. A group of leftist communists who still believe that planned economies are the way to go and can barely keep their rag afloat want to talk business. I love it. If the sentinel had its way, we would all be forced into labor by our government and Obama would be the next Mao.

Switched in March to Directv - can't see me ever stepping backwards to cable again. FSN show Rays & Marlins. Did you know that Sun Sports also shows Rays/Marlins but BHN can't show them? I had 5 Big Ten channels also, and NFLN.
If people weren't scared of switching to satellite, BHN wouldn't talk so tough. Picture is much improved also. Do it!

This hurts all kinds of Magic fans. I'm a season ticket holder and I can't see all of the away games. If the Magic can't make this happne, then maybe I should return my season tickets.

I'm not rich but my family has season tickets ($20 seats). It's one activity we choose to do together, and it's cheaper than dinner and a movie ANY DAY. We support our community, and we love the Magic.

Good point! The Magic has shown no especial interest in its fans now that it is getting its arena.
