Haha! Rondo's not winning another title with this roster. Their window is closed.

I actually like what they did with their roster. I think adding jet, sullinger, melo, courtney lee and getting Jeff green back plus rondo, bradley, pierce, bass, and kg makes them a legit threat out of the east.

Lots of youngsters = no real experience when it counts most and I love KG but even he can't work rookie miracles all the time. Jet is a single engine passenger plane now and on the decline and is in no way a replacement for Ray Allen and I know he's not meant to be but still. Losing Allen and getting Jet still leaves a lot to be desired.

I do though think they'll make the playoffs and get out of the first round but will probably lose in 7 in the 2nd round because of their strong will and Doc's influence. Their starters are too old and their bench is too inexperienced.

I luv Doc, one of today's best coaches, but Celt's fans are in denial if they think their team is going the distance.

I will come back and congratulate them if they win it all. They are going to miss Ray Ray.

Who did they pick up in the off season?

Was he high when he said that?

Boston isn't winning anything anytime soon, with that group.

I like the roster better than last years. I say second round probably. I think they will be the second seed in the east

the east is watered down. I think the bulls take a step back. No one else is even close to a threat. Maybe pacers

Sorry Solution, I didn't see your post.

Miami picked up Josh Harrellson, Rashard Lewis, Andray Blatche and Ray Allen. I have to say that they are a legit threat again.

No problem:)
Yeah Miami should dominate the east. Not so much because of lewis lol but because of the other pick ups on top of a championship team

The only youngsters are the 2 rooks melo and sullinger. The only 3 old guys are pierce jet and kg. the rest of the key player are prime age. IMO I think it's a nice mix of age.

I think they have 5 rookies and 6 guys with 10+ years in the league and outside of the Bass and Bradley assuming Bass doesn't start their bench is kinda ho-hum. Similar to the Lakers last year and we saw what happened there. No depth, too much reliance on starting 5 and got ran to death in playoffs and the C's are older than the Lakers last year.

The biggest problems are who will be their go to outside shooter to even remotely come close to Ray? Pietrus? He's not clutch, he's not even consistent. Jet(the 2 seater Cessna plane)? He's sporadic at best and never truly was "the man". Then there's KG. He will have to play the 5(can you really count on Collins as a reliable backup?)again and we know he has problems with that in the playoffs. They really haven't been the same since Perkins got traded.

I still say they make it out of 1st round but it will be tough and the second round they'll make their exit but they wont go down without a fight. Next year I look to the C's to go in a new direction as this team is too long in the tooth. Unrealistic expectations for them to go deep or to win it all and at the end of the day when you're the C's it's win it or bust.

I still, to this day, can't believe that they traded Perkins. smh

Boston is a team with a lot of pride, especially KG.

Could be the end of an era if they can't survive this season. However, a lot of teams reach that point eventually. Got to keep bringing in the young ones.

Agreed. And to Solutions point the C's have brought in some great young talent but to be able to rely on their rookie's come playoff time? To me that's asking too much.

This year if Wade, Bosh and LJ can stay healthy they are the ones to beat because they play great team ball. Also the role players must step up.
Lakers on paper are great and nearly unanamimous to win but one of their key player is not a team player and they will fall in around the second round. The C;s with a great coach are an overachieving team but they are either too young or too old in certain positions. Garnett and Pierce have lost a step or two. Their first and second year players are not quite ready for the big stage.
