It was a cheap shot and I don't condone the elbow, but why did Harden run into him and initiate the contact?

Should the Lakers be Banned form completing the Season? The Lakers may not fully understand the rules of the game and may need remedial courses in decent behavior before being allowed anywhere near civilized players.

Nah you can't hold the entire organization responsible for Worldpeace being caught up in the heat of the moment or Bynum knocking little Barea to the ground last season....the entire team suffers when those guys are suspended already.

There is contact initated in every minute of every game plyed in the NBA and much of it much greater than what happened in the Lakers game and those don't end up with a viscious elbow and concussion. sorry but it certainly sounds like you are condoning it!

Well I'm not. I understand basketball is a contact sport, but watch the replay in slow mo, Worldpeace dunks, beats his chest once and Harden slides over in front of him, initiating all the contact on an in bounds play. I do not think he deserved an elbow to the throat, or any retaliation, for the act, but you went no place in answering my initial question in asking why he decided to run into Worldpeace at that moment.

First off, have you ever played basketball?? Of COURSE it's a contact sport! Football is a COLLISION sport. And, should who just walk back after the opposition just scored or hustle to get on D? I assume you mean Harden, and if the opposition just scored, in this case Metta, he (Harden) would not be on defense, he would be on offense, so hustle back to get on D makes absolutely no sense. Metta was turning and running back the other way since it was his turn on defense, and Harden slid into his way on an in bounds play....is that normal, to place a defender between yourself and the ball when you are the primary in bound option? I think not. Hustle back.... Lol what a joke.
