Dec 11, 2012 Full story: New York Magazine 10

We are six days away from the return of Jeremy Lin to Madison Square Garden and all that entails, and the extremists on both sides are bringing out their worst, with the Lin-swooners grousing that the Knicks are a dysfunctional franchise in a current hot streak that will still struggle when their elderly players all grow more elderly together , and ... Still showing flashes of star quality play... but he's still young and needs to learn how to play off the ball more. Hey, if Carmelo Anthony can learn how to do it, there is no way Jeremy Lin can't.

Jeremy Lin will florish under McHale, more uptempo and allows JL more freedom and responsiblities. JL deferred too much to his team mates in previous games but we know what he could do when he is at least 75% healthy, his knee knee still have a little ways to go. Just like D Wade, it take time to heal the knee.

the ball in JL's hands than Harden, James is too t/o prone and does not see the court as well as JL.
McHale have already pointed that out, he said that even when James returns he wants JL to have the ball more .

Jeremy Lin is highly overrated. He is going to be out of the league in 3 yrs. Big waste of a contract.. The knicks are far better with what they have now.

If you are were band-wagonner who thinks Linsanity would last forever... yes I don't expect him to be averaging 25 pt and 10 assists for the season... but the last four games he's has scored 22, 18, 15, 20 pts and had 8,6,11, 11 assists... those are pretty good numbers against pretty good like the Knicks and the Grizzles... the Bull are waiting for Rose to return... but they still are the fourth best defense in the league.

In comparison Deron Williams played almost the same teams over the last 4-5 games (Knicks, Bulls, 76ers) and played about the same or worse in terms of points, assists and turnovers... of course it could be that Deron Williams is in a slump and Lin is doing well... but Deron Williams is earning over $16,300,000 which is more than triple what Lin is earning. With that in light, I think Lin is about what people had expected (which not to say what people hoped for).

McHale has made the right move, he moved Harden mainly to SG and have JL mainly as the PG. The last 10 games JL has played like an all star guard.
Harden is too t/o prone and does not see the court well at all and slows down the game too much with Iso-Harden like he did in OKC that is why they traded him. I was not happy with JL's play in the first 15 games of the season but now the coaches finally figured out how to use both James and JL's talents together. JL is not a SG and Harden is not a PG, initially they had it all wrong. Iso stuff does not work, just look at Iso-Melo, Iso-KoMe et al. BTW JL is still in the all-star hunt.

Right now JL is the most popular basketball player in the world right now, his jerseys worldwide are the hottest. Even though he is not white, his virtues, ethics and morality are that of a white person, nice and clean.

Ok.. I will give that one to you. Lin isn't Linsanity like last yr but those are still some pretty good numbers. The Rockets stole Asik. I wanted Boston to get him since I am a Celtics fan.

As far as Deron Williams, very overpaid I think especially since Brooklyn cant be over 500 now. To me, Rondo is better even if he does have some "baggage".

I will say this.. Felton and Lin right now do look better than Deron Williams.. Lin might get ahead of Deron by the end of the year anyhow and into next yr or even a lifetime, never know. Jameer Nelson really isn't that much worse than Deron either. Looks like Deron is losing a step or 2 because other pg's are catching up, even Jrue Holiday too.

Lin had a bad game yesterday but it was back to back games, he looked a little tired and slow. What he should do is after the first game go see a trainer and then see a trainer 2 hrs before game time. I have my players do that to recover faster and when I was playing I did the same thing. His second game , seemed like he was a different player. One game , the first game he had 20 pts and 11 assists and then the next night game 2 he had 7 t/os and only eight points.
