Great interview RyDoggy! You and Dad did a real good job! What a cool story. That was nice of Lebron & Chris to sign your shoes. You are lucky..and brave! Your shooting form looked awesome in the video! But I'm still gonna beat you at PIG........someday. Oh yeah! You're goin' down, little man! Well maybe next time (yeah right).

I am happy for the little guy I just wish parents would teach their kids to stop drooling over these overpaid athletes, singers and actors. I mean what is wrong with the kid looking up to his dad? There is none of that anymore, it is only idols who are looked up to, it saddens me.

Sign a freaking shoe?? Are you kidding me?? How about signing to pay for the kid's college education? Or doing something worth noting? Shame on that dad for teaching tha kid to idolize a guy that thinks its some big deal to sign a shoe, and a guy that don't have enough integrity to marry the mother of his own son.

You sure are not teaching your child much if that is all you are teaching him to use as a role model.

Too much about all of this. Fans are nuts, recall how Modell couldn't come to Cleveland for fear of his life? Let's hope no crazed fan decides to assasinate Lebron if he turns his back on his home area.

It's just a game, whether he chooses for money or chance to win a title, that's his choice. Loyalty? the owners were never loyal and trade players all the time (Indians) because of money.

I say good bye to Lebron if he chooses to leave and of course hope he doesn't win a championship elsewhere. No problem with his choice or all the money he can get.

Poor kid. He will be disappointed. And shame on his dad for perpetuating this whole king thing. Lebron is a man and doesn't deserve to be worshiped.

Since the beginning of sports young fans have always clamored for an autograph from their favorite athlete. From Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, and Willie Mays, to Johnny Unitas, Joe Namath, and Greg Pruitt, to Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan and now LeBron James. I recall being thrilled after receiving an autograph from Dennis Eckersley after he pitched a no hitter for the Indians (now I'm really dating myself).

I think some critics are being too hard on the father and son. They both seem to be well grounded and thrilled with the chance meeting. Afterall, the kid did save his own money to purchase the shoes.

Kudos to LeBron for accommodating the request and the way he has carried himself since entering the league as a teenager.

Ryan is a GREAT kid with GREAT parents. He bought the shoes with his OWN money and who wouldnt be happy to have gotten an autograph from Lebron. Anyone on here would have JUMPED at the chance to have gotten his autograph. The kid is 9, just be happy for him!
