Yeah, Shaq can take his time coming back. We need him for the playoffs, namely the Magic series. Just make sure you're healthy before you come back and don't push it too soon.

On a side note, yeah, this is the Cavs year. Or, this is our best chance yet until next year. Time to get it done Cleveland!

This year's Cavs are definitely a better team than last year's Cavs. So one could assume that they would progress further than they did last year, which means making it into the Finals. But you got to realize that the other contenders have improved also.

I hope Shaq DOES get some more playing time before he's thrown right into the playoffs. But not at the risk of a set-back with the thumb.

GO CAVS

I saw your post about Carter in another forum, so I'm going to answer that here along with a few other things.

I disagree that the other contenders have also improved. I don't think any other contender except the Mavs have improved as much as the Cavs have. Carter is not the answer for the Magic and he is not going to lead them past the Cavs. I thought that getting Carter was a mistake for the Magic the moment I saw that deal happen. Honestly the team I was most worried about for the Cavs was the Nuggets.

I was just wanting a Magic fan's opinion. In the past I have found them very difficult to talk to. This guy was a knowledgeable person who didn't talk a lot of smack.

I think the Magic are missing Turk, I know he sure played better with them than currently with the Raps. I'm not a big Carter fan, just curious as to what they think about him.

I was worried about Denver and Utah in the BEGINNING of the season. Utah played Cavs very close splitting those 2 games. And George Karl (use to be in Cleveland LONG ago) had Denver in the #2 spot for awhile.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion. I will always listen.

Its great when you can find a fan of another team that will actually have a civil discussion with you. I mean, if they are really passionate about their team you're basically talking to an expert on the subject. I would be curious also to know what the Magic fans thought of Carter. And I absolutely agree with you that the Magic miss Turk bigtime. The Raptors also lose in this scenario, making the only winner Turk because of his $$.

Utah I'm not nervous about anymore, but I still am about Denver. Maybe it's just because they have Billups and I still remember what he can do, but I don't know. I think our upgraded team matches up well against them.

Thanks for listening. I try to do the same for you and keep my discussions with almost everyone civil. As for you, I always enjoy reading your posts and you have some good opinions worth commenting on. It's nice to talk with smart people instead of the ones that sign on as a new name each time.
