Tom Powers: Face facts: Minnesota Timberwolves are getting better

Full story: TwinCities.com 8
Here's my personal barometer for measuring the Timberwolves' quality of play. I'm not making "that face." Upon my returning home from Target Center and a Wolves game, a family member often would say: "We saw you on TV. Full Story

I have to agree that the Wolves are at least a much more entertaining team than they were in recent years. Give Kahn his due, his plan is slowly reaping benefits and, in time, might yield much more.

Patience is a gift that is given in small portions to
sports fans. I see the improvement too, but until it
translates into wins, the rabid will continue to clamor 'til heads roll in the streets of Minneapolis.

Cooler heads stay the course in mighty storms. The team is good. The individual parts are, of themselves, no better than benchlings, except for Love, so something must be working.

I think, however, that when another career bench
player returns, Sebastian Telfair, the ship will
right its course somewhat. I'm hopeful.

Fans need some perspective. This is a team of
career stand-ins, for the most part, pieces
that were picked up in the scrap-heap at Good
Will Industries - but they are far and above
better than that rag-tag conglomeration of a
year ago. Give maturity its time. Instant team
has never happened in the history of the NBA
'til now. They're trying it in South Beach
with three superstars. We're not that blessed
in talent.

Seriously....if they left town...would anybody notice? I wouldn't spend one cent to support the millionaire thug league....I'm not thrilled about negotiating a gauntlet of crime to even get to any of their games either..Block E shootings and assaults..please just move to Omaha or something!!!

You have to be kidding me? When/If this team is good enough to make the playoffs, no one except Kevin Love will be on the roster. We heard how Randy Foye and Al Jefferson were going to lead us. Now they are on dfferent teams and winning. Even the Clipper are a better team - The Clippers. Thats embarassing.
