Some businesses may do less business, but other businesses will do more. The money isn't lost, it doesn't disintegrate.

The money is merely spent elsewhere.

Just our luck. The ONE year where the Timberwolves have the highest draft pick in franchise history (Williams), sign the best foreign player in the world (Rubio), hold on to the league's greatest rebounder of all time (Love), and sign one of the greatest coaches in NBA history...the 2011-12 season will be locked-out. The Minnesota pro-sports curse lives on forever :(

You're.delusional, which is typical for MN fans. No one cares who the highest draft pick was. The German Moses, Dirk Nov is the best foreign player in the world, not Rubio. The greatest rebounder is Rodman, not Love. And the greatest coach is Phil Jacksn, not Adleman.

You, my friend, have once again proved that intelligence is non-existent in Packer Cheesehead-land. I said that the Timberwolves signed, "ONE" of the greatest coaches in league history, not "THE greatest coach of all time. I would suggest that you take a high-school level English class next time you want to write your opinions. It will only help your case, brother...because right now, you're not helping yourself. By the way, did you enjoy Adrian Peterson running all over your supposedly-great Packers defense last Sunday? LOL.

Just to clarify what I stated earlier, Ricky Rubio is the best foreign player in the world who has not played for an NBA team. By the way, Kevin Love will be the greatest rebounder of all time before his career is over. Mark my words.
