it makes sense to me. if fans are envolved in player twitter pages, they are envolved with the team. free marketing for the minnesota timberwolves. the more the fans follow players such as kevin love, they are closer to the game and closer to the minnesota timberwolves.... maybe they'll start watching more and even buy tickets the the games... maybe buy a jersey.
