I can't stand the losing. Can't any MN teams finish? The Wild, losers of seven straight. The Gopher men's and women's basketball team. The Twins (once they get into the playoffs).

A listless effort for the first 15 minutes, then it was if someone flipped the energy switch. Beasley was not into anything but shooting for the first half but started hustling and playing much better "D" as the score got closer.

The Wolves could have won this game pretty easily. Darko fumbled a couple of passes into turnovers. Beasley overthrew an inbounds pass (but of course Darko didn't make much effort to catch it). Everyone pretty much went cold the last 3 minutes of the game, which didn't help. Boston didn't shoot well either but made a few, and avoided the errors that plagued Minnesota.

Considering the Love and Pek were out, and Randolph had a tough game, it was pretty impressive that the Wolves made the score close after being down by 25 early. I realize that there is nothing left to play for this year, but pride, but these guys are actually not that bad when they apply themselves and play hard, which they don't do all that often.
