"While Davis offered 23 points in support, he was way too loose with the ball for a team that has to value every possession.

And then there was Jackson, the supposed answer to the offseason loss of 3-point specialists Jason Kapono and James Posey. The former Oregon shooting star was jeered off the court after a 1-of-7 start."

what a bunch of idiots. specially Davis. he always did the same mistakes whether we win or lose. Jackson is nothing but shooting airballs. he should just try to shoot his balls. maybe it may get in. the heat have no talent except for me and Cook. and pat riley is just too stupid to not to put some talent in the heat. i want him out. he's got nothing but full of excuses. he has too much pride. he needs to die i tell you. die pat!

How many games will he throw away before getting id of the crap and getting a better player or two? Seriously, a move needs to be made. Fast.

I think it is time to start tanking this season, getting the rookies extended playing time, and study who the top players in next year's draft will be. The lottery has ALWAYS been bad to the Heat, but if we do poorly enough, we can get another Wade in the draft.

Remember, San Antonio is where they are today because of Duncan, who they picked up in the lottery by tanking the previous season. A good team with a stunningly bad record, that was the Spurs, and now it is the Heat. We can pick up a dominant replacement for the disappearing Shaq.

They just have to keep losing by only five or so, so that Stern and league don't get suspicious. Riley is smart enough to realize this season is done, so as GM it is time to position yourself for a better draft pick next year.

The guys are downright embarrasing or is it embarassing...either way they would endorse that word perfectly. They are pathetic, what is Riley waiting for to pull the trigger on a trade...I guess for G. Odden, oh wait that was last year, than what the heck is he waiting for.

Anyone interested in season tix, I am committed thru next season. Barring a miracilous trade of Davis, J-Wills, Zo's expiring contracts, we have no hope, even if we do make a great trade of their contracts for say Bibby and Artest, its still probably too late for this year.

The question is...how will this losing affect Wade both physically and mentally? He looks shot to me. He also never comes across as a great team leader if only by example trying to split the double-team every time down then jumping up and making a risky pass somewhere or forcing something.

Riley will spend the rest of his career coddling Wade and hoping he stays with the Heat. This season, however, will do untold damage to both of their legacies. Losing like this leaves a permanent scar.

I don't know who made the scouting report of Luke but I can shoot better than him. PAt made bad desicion by let leave Posey and Kapono. I prefer to have Penny instead of Luke. The Team is playing like loosers Including Wade. They don't respect their Job. If I was the Boss I certainly fire the majority of them.

The rise and fall of Riley. The Laker moonshot start with Magic, the gritty Knick and Heat teams, the storybook Heat title run....then THIS! His system has run it's course. Always hoping and hopping on the star system, trading versus developing has caught up with Riley. This team is flawed to the core as long as Shaq gets paid his $20 mill to NOT rebound, score, block shots, make free throws, stay healthy, and be a team leader.

You know if Wade is coming with his best game and they are still loosing this season is in teh tank. Its time to dump Shaq and go young and fast. Build a team that can support and run with Wade and not slow him down.

Okay, this team is just terrible. I have been a heat fan since their expansion season, so I have been through all the ups and the downs. This season is definitely a down. I am not sure if anyone is looking at the big picture like I am doing. Look at Dwayne Wade and see how he is really fatigued. He is almost just a corpse out there who does not really give a ratís bottom about this team anymore. He knows that his efforts are futile. It was clearer than ever after he put up 40 plus points to Orlando and they still ended up losing. I canít blame Wade. I would not disintegrate my body either playing to my full potential if I knew I had teammates that could not make a shot, not play defense, not get rebounds, not set solid screens, and that has no pride when it comes to losing. I am not shocked if this Team drives Dwayne Wade to get on the bottle and have him end up at an AA meeting somewhere. I mean this situation is depressing for him. This is my advice to Pat Riley. Start Daequan cook. He is a fearless player and he is the closes clone to Kopono that you are going to get, but better because unlike Kopono he could actually dunk and drive to the basket with authority. Remind Ricky Davis that he is the third scoring option. He goes out there and plays as if he is the NBAís MVP, by taking a bunch of ill advised shots. Ricky scares me every time he touches the ball. Luke Jackson has not done a dang thing since he has been in a heat uniform. I am actually wishing we had Hardaway back. At least he made perfect post passes to shaq, which is something the entire heat team seems uncapable of doing. Mr. Riley. With shaq making 20 million a year. You are stuck. Just continue saving face when he continues to foul out and puts up less than 10 points like he has been doing for this entire season. Give Wade anything that he wants. Because it would take a lot of kissing a** to D Wade to prevent him from wanting to be traded from this debacle called the Miami Heat. Get rid of J WILL. He has nothing to bring to the table anymore. Him and shaq are to busy competing to see who will sit out the most games this year due to injuries. My feeling is that shaq will win that injury crown once again as he has for the pass three years. Udonis Haslem is okay. Although I think he is overpaid I think he is still a solid player. Dorrel Wright seems to have a jump shot which is really reliable. Some one just needs to teach him how to dribble past his defender. Who am I kidding? The entire team needs to learn how to dribble pass their defender (excluding Dwayne Wade of course). This Season is over and Pat knows it. He should just dismantle this entire team and start all over.

Nothing to explain. Riley teams don't have staying power. He ultimately becomes unwelcome any place he goes. It's not the team that can't "sustain it" it's Riley. His act wears thin. Time for a change.

So true. That "15 Strong" gimmick was corny. In this day and age, that cr*p only works with jr. high school teams.

i have read everybody's comments and i agree with everyone. but very little mention of one on one defense. they just can't defend anyone 1 on 1. game after game, they just blow by heat players or stop and shoot and MAKE their shots. ricky davis just shoots way too much from the outside. he is not an outside shooter that the team can depend on. this seems to be the reason that they are down by 9 or 8 with 2 or 3 minutes left and can't hit the three to cut the deficit.
the turnovers last night were killing me. udonis and ricky davis just making passes like the other team is just going to let them set up their offense and they are in practice.
not everyone on the same page. pathetic.

Riley is another Bush. Only believes what he wants to believe. The team needs a new coach, some new fresh coaches and new players. It's not that they are not trying, they just are not good enough. Haselem would not start on another team. He is just mediocre like the rest of the team except Wade. Wade needs to be on a team where there are is another player as good as him. Then he will learn to control his ego.

Mark Blount, is the Man. Give him some time Pat and he will carry the team to a Championship. 08 is Blount's year to shine as a superstar in the NBA. Just start him and let Shaq heal up. By time the playoffs come around the team will be hitting on all cylinders. Dwade, Shaq and Blount is force that nobody can stop. Blountie is better than KG in his prime, come all you Heaters don't lose hope, this season is just beginning.

We're glad you took Shaq, his work ethics are always questionable and now you know. You gave up everything for one championship, hope you think it was worth it. Shaq WAS one of the greatest centers, now just a former shell, too bad he's going out this way. Poor Wade, he can't carry a team like Kobe, it's only been a few months and he's burnt, Kobe did it three years. You get what you pay for, now your stuck in the cellar and Wade will leave!
