How about a Justin Morneau's? They could stop serving on August 1 each year and rename themselves the MVP Lounge.
By the way. Isnt Harmon a Mormon? What are they doing naming a cocktail lounge after him? Maybe theyll only serve Shriley Temples.

Why are you ignoring the story about more admitted police abuse in Minneapolis? Your relationship with the Strib appears more like collusion every day.

Um, why are you ignoring that you are in the sports section? I think their are better ways of getting your complaint across to the editors.

The location of the new Twins stadium is horrid. No adjacent parking areas other than a ramp that will be a nightmare before and after games. Light rail to the stadium that will be absolutely packed to and from the game. Sandwiches inbetween blocks of buildings and congestion. All reasons to keep me from attending games when I can watch in comfort from my easy chair.

I agree. Anybody that has been to Miller Park knows that we got a cheap stadium in LOUSY location. The light rail was the only reason it was built there. Don't worry it will be in a good spot for an expansion of the garbage burner.
St Paul (our state capitAl) was the answer. We only missed by a few miles!

All Minnesotan's do is complain. I dont even like the Twins. But take some pride in your new stadium, just because they made some mistakes, so what. Every stadium has its defects. The national sports stations are talking about how this will be the most intimate envronment in baseball, a great view of the minneapolis skyline. Yeah, there might be some rain and snow games, but those happen in Detroit and Chicago too. This place will be much better than the metrodome.

Excitement is building for a return to outdoor baseball for the Twins! I do hope that the team secures an ace for the staff in th eoff-season so that they will be more competitive AND perhaps most importantly, let Mauer know there is a reason to resign with the home town team! We'll see.

Twins fans are the worst. Complaining about everything. Glad I'm a yankees fan, subway system outside yankee stadium is always congested but we dont care. Our fans are the best in baseball and love our team and new stadium (even though it has a lot of problems). Obviously Twins fans arent the same! haha

MAKE UP YOUR MIND MINNESOTANS!

How can any of you Minnesotan's be so dumb to blast Jerry Jones? The
guy is supporting football in Minnesota and wants NFL to succeed here.
And if Twin Cities ever does get a new NFL stadium Jones said he'd
vote for Minneapolis to host a Super Bowl which would almost help pay
off the difference to build it.
And forget paying off the stadium, how about the exposure your city
gets that other metro areas would die for to be a Super Bowl host?
And yet some of you idiots out there rip Jones? This stupidity of some
of you Minnesotan's as well as having a stadium (Metrodome) ranking
last in league revenue proves you don't deserve an NFL franchise,
especially when markets like Green Bay or Kansas City have to keep you
afloat by subsidizing your market (Twin City) because you can't do it
on your own.
Yes, I realize Jones is a rich man that wants the league to succeed so
he can become richer, but having the NFL in your city is the biggest
identity - general or sports!
With no NFL franchise, you become Oklahoma City or Little Rock, in the
long run losing Fortune 500 companies, which will destroy your state's
tax base and increase unemployment. Those running big corporations or
companies want to live in cities that have excitement, and the NFL is
pinnacle of that! Get your act together Minnesota or let another state
have your team (Vikings), because there is another place out there
that will pay double to support an NFL franchise than what Minnesota
does.

St Paul with a river view would've been amazing! I saw a Pirates game in Pittsburgh, a great stadium, and thought of what might've been!
