Ronny could have stayed but he would have had to turn down about 10 million dollars.
Thats not realistic. With his new contract and his attitude he is set for life.
You never know but he could return some day.

lakers shouldn't trade chris for lue, the lakers can survive 8 more weeks with what they have without breaking up the chemistry. sasha can provide the spark that jordan can as well. the rotation is working out well right now. keep it up. GO LAKERS!!!

p.s. pau should attack the basket more with a two hand dunks and less dribbling. i'm happy to see bynum attack the basket with authority.

i think the lakers have more bench wamers then mihm that could be delt for a reseve point gaurd mihm was a good player healthy we just need to see him play at least 5 games of good minutes to see what he can do to help the team then think about trading him.

Did I miss something? Chris Mihm doesnt want to play for a non-contender? He isnt even playing right now! He is warming the bench while his bank account is getting fat from Laker paychecks.

He's just going to sit the bench, might as well trade him.

Sure he wants to stay! He's been collecting a fat paycheck for the last few years for doing nothing.

Trade him, but don't just get Lue. We need a small forward or another powerforward in that deal. Chris is weak and need to be traded ASAP, he haven't did anything since being with the Lakers. Surf up

Your statement might be true if Mihm were a Guard... but he's a center. There's no competition between Mihm and Bryant. Check your roster next time you want to make player comparisons. I think Coach Jackson knows a little more about it than you do.

I agree with you, there is no point in getting Lue. Sasha will get the minutes and he will just sit on the bench. When Farmar returns he won't even be dressed for the games.

They need to keep Mihm in case Bynum or Gasol get injured. Mihm is a lot better than Mbenga.

Scott,
The only problem with Sasha is he has foulitis. He commits stupid fouls or make-up fouls after he has someone steal the ball from him. The Lakers can't afford this type of play from someone they need to be on the court for that amount of time...
