The US did not Demolish Germany. The US basketball team beat the German team. Sun-Sentinel headlines often fail to have any useful information. You can't tell what the story is going to be about from the headline any more.
Another headline today is "Its getting stronger." I can only assume that if the headline writers think they need to hide what the story is about, then I don't need to read it.

Sure, As long as you use professionals to beat amateurs, you will have similar results. Little Chinese girls beat the american team in gymnastics. What does that say about American might?
