When was the last time you saw a white NBA star arrested?

Let's remember that the majority of players are African American, but I can't recall the last white player to be arrested. I don't know if this is a race issue or not, but I do know that there might be a drug/drinking/driving problem in pro sports. It seems like everytime someone gets arrested its one of those three, or more than one combined. Now we know what their real hobbies are

Also, I want you all to weigh in on this (I coud be wrong): because there are so little white players in the NBA, they are worried about not having playing time or even making the team. They have to compete with the foreigners as well, so why would they want to screw up? Therefore, they try and stay out of trouble, or do a good job of hiding it.

Well, I guess you got me on that one! There's no getting one over you!

Jayson Williams?

A player from the Sac Kings picked up a dui sometime either late last year or earlier this year.

Robert Smith?

Shall I go on?

I can't recall the last time I saw a white NBA "star", let alone one who got arrested.

Maybe it's a matter of percentages: 98% black, 98% name recognition, 98% newsworthy.

Anyway, I'm glad they got busted irregardless of their race.

I think the big picture is that these guys violated laws and or agreements that are established as guidelines and or barriers. Ethnicity is not even an issue. Its the rules. Now if someone had gotten hurt or killed from the drunk drivers or the wreckless driver, it does not all come down to the color of one's skin. I think that statistics will always play a big role in our society today, however in sports there is no reason to coincide race with talent.

Bringing in the "race card" is a typical liberal attempt at deflection from the issue. It's their typical defense, a weak non-existent one at that.
