The Lakers Are the Best Period. We have a Laker as the NBA LOGO. We have the most wins in NBA history. We Had the greatest announcer of all time in Chick Hearn. There is one chant in the NBA that every Franchise Knows and shouts..BEAT L.A! BEAT L.A! We even have Opponents Fans Wearing Tees The say L.A.(Houston's playoff give aways said BEAT L.A. Not go Rockets) The reason I mention the Tees is because we even have a name for those that despise us. Laker Hater. A very popular term. I asked my neighbor who had a Houston Rockets T shirt on during game 7 of the 2009 Semis, Your from Houston? He said NO, I'm just a Laker HATER. Later that day he said he was going to bring out his Denver Nuggets T shirt. Lynn Worthy, YOU are a LAKER HATER! You are mad that one of your favorite hate lines is no longer valid- " He who has not won one a title without Shaq." So you wanna bring up the Past. The bottom line is they won 16 games in the Postseason. Period. Fakers? No, World Champs. So all of your one liners and hate comments are irrelevant.

This has GOT to be the most ignorant article I have ever read. I'm not even a Laker fan, but this article beats all. No one said anything when the Celtics, with a "cussing at every moment" Kevin Garnett, a "only one game that I'm on" Ray Allen, and a "it's my name ... well ... maybe not" Paul Pierce. You have GOT to be kidding? It's haters like you that make the people who are not Laker fans want to be one.

You, sir, are out of control. First of all, if you STILL think that "the breakup" was all Kobe's doing, you're incredibly biased. I think it's clear by now that Shaq was equally responsible. Second, why was the Lakers' opponent the Magic, instead of the Celtics? Because KG wasn't there? Interesting, that sounds like they missed their injured big guy. And finally, of COURSE LA fans can gloat. Kobe actually got the title that everyone said he couldn't. Who cares if everyone thinks he's selfish? He got a title as a selfish player who didn't care about the team. Sounds like he just did the impossible, doesn't it? Pretty impressive.

This person claims to be a professional writer? She doesn't even have facts correct years after the ability to find them. Boston brought in two Hall of Famers to win their 1 (ONE) Championship, their FIRST in 20+ Years. The Lakers have several during that same period, same with Pistons and Spurs. Boston is an afterthought. Pretty City, unstable ownership and GM.:-)

The two sides ultimately settled that lawsuit, with specific terms of the settlement being undisclosed to the public. Bryant did, however, issue the following statement through his attorney, as part of an agreement with the accuser to dismiss the sexual assault charge: “ First, I want to apologize directly to the young woman involved in this incident. I want to apologize to her for my behavior that night and for the consequences she has suffered in the past year. Although this year has been incredibly difficult for me personally, I can only imagine the pain she has had to endure. I also want to apologize to her parents and family members, and to my family and friends and supporters, and to the citizens of Eagle, Colo. I also want to make it clear that I do not question the motives of this young woman. No money has been paid to this woman. She has agreed that this statement will not be used against me in the civil case. Although I truly believe this encounter between us was consensual, I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did. After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter. I issue this statement today fully aware that while one part of this case ends today, another remains. I understand that the civil case against me will go forward. That part of this case will be decided by and between the parties directly involved in the incident and will no longer be a financial or emotional drain on the citizens of the state of Colorado.[24] ********** So if Kobe did nothing wrong, why did he settle and why apologize? For what?

Oh boy, bringing up this crap again? OK, follow along. Taping coaches signals is not cheating. Doing it from unapproved locations is not allowed though. Understand? So taping of the signals is OK, taping from the sidelines, which is not an approved location, is not ok.

For what? ********** You are right, Kevin Garnett never apologized for ganging up on a young high school "white" kid, beating him up and threatening to hang him from a tree. Basically what I am saying is that nobody ever brings up the fact that there are over 90 current players in the NBA (I'm sure the NFL is worse) that have been arrested for everything from spousal abuse, driving while intoxicated, and yes....rape. At least the NFL is taking a hard core stance on criminal activity. Hey, I'm as much to blame as others as I KNOW these facts and still watch basketball and the NFL every week. Kevin did it as a stupid teenager, Kobe did his as an adult......but there are many more out there. AND, it's not a black-white thing as there are many, many white players who have committed crimes, including some you would be suprised about. I must admit though that I respect and follow the players who go out of their way to do a public good. That includes Ray Allen, Dereck Fisher, Tim Duncan, etc. That does not include Kobe, Kevin Garnett, Posey, etc.

Do I sense a bit of jealousy here?, if my memory will serve me right, 2 teams took your team oriented Celtics to game seven during their last title run, and please spare me your comments. If you don't have anything nice to say about someone, just keep quiet.
