I think the Rockets may have given up too much for Harden: Kevin Martin,Jeremy Lamb, two first rounders and one second rounder. Bad deal for Rockets.

Only if Harden gets hurt could it be a bad deal. The only time Harden failed to shine period was in the Finals. Harden is the real deal. He can set the pace and dish and get his mates involved and he can create his own shots too all while playing solid defense.

Martin can't do all that and doubtful he'll ever be able to be anywhere close to Harden. Lamb is untested and Harden is proven, reliable and young. Rockets did the right thing by far.

Yea I don't know about Martin. He seemed quite good in Sac town but quieted down in Houston. Plus being his 3rd team in a young career got me thinking.

I know, it's like Martin is flirting with the idea of being a star player a lot but just can't seal the deal yet. I wonder if he's too nice a guy and/or doesn't mind traveling seeing as he's now on his 3rd team?

Harden was decent in OKC because Durant and Westbrook made it easy for him. They were double and triple teamed therefore it was easy for him to get free. At Houston he will not be as good.

You fool, Harden lead the 2nd unit minus KD and Westbrook majority of the time. Why do you think he was named 6th man of the year?

Harden could've been a starting PG on just about any team in the NBA. You argue for a guy like Lin who had only a few good games under his belt and now you discredit a proven, legit player in Harden? This just goes to prove once again you have no business ever talking about basketball.
