Good for him. He's not a fit for the Lakers. Period. Nothing against Sessions personally but we need a legitimate point guard who can create and dish and control the game. Sessions just isn't that guy.

No, I go by what I see being a Laker follower since the 80's and a supporter since Phil Jackson started coaching there and the Lakers NEED a star PG with a strong disposition to match or even put Kobe in his place at times. Somebody that Kobe will trust because of what they've done and earned previously and LA(Lakers specifically)is too big a stage for Sessions as he proved that himself in the playoffs. Sessions would be great coming off the bench with the second unit in LA but a starter alongside Kobe? No way and Sessions himself opted out because even HE KNOWS. Mark HIS words Tiff.

Sessions was great for the Lakers, he was a good defender and shot fairly well and plays under control.

He's average at best and that's not what LA is about nor is it what we want. We don't settle for mediocrity and unfortunately that is exactly what Sessions is and he's proved just that in his entire NBA career. The guy seems cool and he might be a super, great person outside of bball but you don't combat Westbrook, Parker, CP3 even Andre Miller and Ty Lawson(who tore him up)and the like with Sessions and that's just the Western Conference! Being "in the NBA and a college coach" yourself you SHOULD know that!
