In a democracy, the majority rules, why are the whites the minority in the NBA? It is because the minorities are using the race cards and exploiting the whites. We need to take back our country and the system of democracy.

I do not think JL is a drunk, he can be good but 25 strong games only is not a proven commodity, Felton is six years in the NBA already.

After they way he played his heart out for the kick, he should be upset that they did not offer him a contract first and foced him to test the market. They were expecting Jeremy Lin to get a low ball contract offer that they can match. Never expeced he would get a good offer.

By getting hurt after starting only 25 games shows that he may be injury-prone. Last year shows that he plays out of control, lots of turnovers and bad decisions, poor court sense and low basketball IQ. He still needs some seasoning under a good coach, at NYC he is not going to get it, he is better off with the Rockets. I feel that JL will be an excellent PG but it takes time, it took Nash three years before he tore up the league.

Mike Woodson is a better coach than Kevin McHale.

Kevin McHale have three NBA rings and one of the best all time power forwards. He learned from some of the best coaches in the NBA. Lin may flourished under him, although his style is a little different than D'Antoni.

LOL, not dissing McHale or his coaching abilities but if you want to be a master on the post, go to McHale. KG owes his game to McHale.

If you want to be a master class PG McHale probably shouldn't be your first choice. It's kind of like going to a steak house for the sea food. It's passable but in no way equal to a real sea food restaurant.

Woodson in fact played as a 2 guard in the NBA for the Knicks and in the back court with Isiah Thomas at Indiana university. Just saying.

Let's put it this way McHale saw enough in Lin to give him this contract. He probably saw as I did a much improved Lin from last year, he is much quicker, faster, court vision better, learns fast, stronger, finishing much better to the basket, better court sense, better footwork in defense, last year Lin had a PER of nearly 20 ,this year it will be a lot higher. The man will barring inuries be turning some heads. Jim Dolan will be dumb not to match offers, it may be too late already.

No you are very wrong on this. Houston is bringing in someone to put butts in the seats. Lin will attract the same asian American fans that were around when Yao Ming played plus people of every color who love his story. If they don't add another notable name to their roster, they will still be able market LINsanity. Not mention, he does indeed have some game.

Lin has made a lot of money for Graden broadcasting and the business. It is a business decision. Rockets had a good experience with Yao Ming, they like to do it again with a 'global" perspective.... all business calculation. One can not blame Lin on the outcome.

How mcuh Jim Dolan pay Felton? It must be quite a bit less than Rockets's offer and he can skip the luxury taxes with Felton.

Jim Dolan is no fool, he did not think any team would make good offer to JL. He only care about how much a player bring in. Well, he learned a lesson. JL,true value is his global image like Yao Ming. There is a big market for commercial activities and promotion for Lin than for Felton. Last year alone over 25 games, JL has increased more tah $100 M opportunity for Knicks. How much was his pay with Knicks? Sports industry is no long that simple, it all about money and projection on earning ( for the team and the owner).

As an Asian America, J. Lin was born in US but you still call him 'foreigner'. Then you should call Jordan and Kobe 'foreigner' as well because they are Africa America.
Ginobili wrote:
J. Lin is not that good, too many turnovers and dumb plays. Too much playground ball. He will do better in China, he does not belonged in America. He is lucky that the Knicks and the Rockets pay him so much money so he can send it back to China.
In China he would just play for a bowl of rice and 1/2 oz of meat. We already have enough foreigners on our teams, we need to use a quota system.

"Ginobili" is the resident nutjob. He says one thing than totally contradicts himself later on as is proof with what you quoted. He said Lin was basically worthless and now he says McHale saw all this awesomeness flowing from Lin and he's magically better now all of a sudden. Then, if Ginobili doesn't feel as if he's getting the response he's after he brings out his alter ego "Snowflake".

He really thinks he's foolin somebody.
