Of course. He's just the TimberWolves type. He's s forward-center.
Just like Point Guards, you can't have too many undersized
Power Forawrd/Centers.

NOTICE TO THE REST OF THE NBA:
NBA GM's, please just trade us more of the following three types:

(1) Point Gaurds:
Must be small, unable-to-shoot-or-pass, or defend, and/or create shot against any other starting NBA point guards.

(2) Centers:
Must be slow 7-0, definitely with a bad contract, and with a scoring average of less than 5 PPG. MUST be a draft bust who gives no effort during playing time.(Prefer over-age 30 as well please)

(3) Power Forwards or Power Forward/Centers:
Undersized (6-8 or less), cannot defend any other starting Power Forwards or Centers on other teams, play like they are 6-6, and whom we can list as 6-10 for our fans,(wink, wink, nudge, nudge). We always like to play these types of players against the rest of the league's starting centers and Power Forwards who are a legitimate 6-10 or over.

In return, we promise to give you players you can use to crerate cap space room, draft picks, and players in excess of what we get in return. That's our guarantee.

And please, no calls to trade us your legimate starters. We are not accepting any at this time, or next year, or the year after that, etc.

Signed,
The Minnesota TimberWolves

The Timberwolves motto: Give us your tired, your slow, your marginally talented, and unmotivated players. We are now officially proud to announce our full commitment to be the junkyard of the NBA!!!

This young man is a Creighton University graduate who has talent, who scraps and hustles. He is driven to be successful and, given a window of opportunity in the NBA last year, opened some eyes. Minnesota could do (and has done) much worse than this soft spoken and intelligent player.

We need a top tier PG. How are we going to get playing time for
this glut of forwards that we have? With Jonny Flynn out, we need
stability at guard, which I see as our main weakness with
Flynn gone. Ridnour and (insert name here) are only back-ups.
They need someone to take the big minutes at the point.

I suppose they find it hard to resist a guy that gets pretty
good numbers, and on the cheap. I would, too, and he is
proven productive. If he comes, I see one of our earlier
forward acquisitions getting dangled. I wonder who?

Maybe we can get a fairly stable PG in trade. Someone the age
and the caliber of a Baron davis, for example.

Chris Paul wouldn't come to the frozen North, would he? ;-)

Well, he played for a lousy team like Golden State and I've never heard of him, so he'd be perfect for the Timberwolves.

If Tolliver was smart, he'd sign with Golden State even if he does make less money. The Warriors have a chance to go up - the Wolves are working on a 10-72 season. Worse, if you can't become a star in Minnesota, your career is over in the NBA. Just look at the players that actually played one season for us, and you'll see what I mean. We've been able to hang our hats on one guy, Kevin Garnett, that did something special while he was here and after he left. This is not the place for you Tolliver. Not if you want to have a career in the NBA.

Lazy Journalism: It's unfortunate in this day and age that all a paper has to do is cite another newspaper or online source and it's news. Even if the story is incorrect, all the paper has to do is say that it came from another newspaper, and they're off the hook for accuracy. Remember all of the stories about Brett Favre last year from obscure and often incorrect sites and podunk newspapers? And by the way, what newspaper is this again?

How in the Hell can Glen Taylor keep supporting this fool. He's made more of a mockery of this franchise than McHale (and I thought THAT was impossible).

Tolliver seems like a very intelligent person, therefore he will either stay where he is or play elsewhere. He's paranoid of playing for the T-Wolves. Who wouldn't be?

Like they said on Yahoo Sports...there are 29 NBA Teams..and then theres the Timberwolves ..and what ever they are doing. This is from basketball experts. Kahn has made us the laughing stock. I am embarrased. This was an expert talking about free agentcy and who the winner and losers were..T-wolves were even further below then the losers.
