To those doubting UConn's reputation and excellence, it's ranked 26th out of all public universities nationwide. Those rankings take into account, amongst other things, the esteem in which the universities are held by their peer institutions.

How do you go before a judge and sue someone when you're dumber than a rock! And for all those who said they "feel bad" for Rip....don't. Actually Rip should get arrested for stealing a college diploma!!!

Nonsense. We should all want UCONN to be a leading university. We should all want it to attract the best and the brightest. I did not go there but why wouldn't we want it to be the best. UCONN should aim to be as good as the Ivies. If your kids cannot get in, oh well, let them go to Eastern, Central, etc or, better yet, pony up and pay for a private school

Yup. That would be the Ripster!!!! People say the mostest stupidest things ever!!!!

Whether we like it or not big times sports attract other students to colleges and universities. UCONN and schools like it try to improve their sports programs just as they try to improve their dorms. It causes more students to apply. More competition means better students are admitted, better students means better profs etc.

THis is not hard
