The Bulls should have ended that game leading by 25, but as always they just got to comfortable. The backcourt was pretty big....I was little disturbed by the commentators saying the Bulls defense was pretty good. It really wasn't, it's just the Pistons didn't have any scorers....they are all injured. Despite my complaining, I like how the Bulls are starting to close out this season. They just need to make sure that they beat the teams they are capable of beating. Noah has become a favorite of mine, a long with Salmons....I think Deng should just call it a season. If he comes back, he's just going to jack up the flow of team. His game doesn't mesh well with the Bulls running offense. Nice win Bulls...now beat Miami Thursday.`

I Don't understand the "expensive backup" routine with Hinrich. People are too focused on who starts. When Rose, Gordon, and Hinrich are healthy you've got three good guards, which I think is a pretty good thing. The Bulls team has gotten better recently because they've got seven or eight players that most folks would call "starter-worthy." They all play, and they all play well. It seems like a lot of Bulls followers either complain because we don't have enough of something or complain because we have too much of it. If they get rid of Hinrich it will be "we don't have enough guards."

Rod Stuckey sucks. I love how the Detroit fans constantly push this guy saying he is the next big thing. He dropped 40 on a bad Bulls team earlier in the season and thats supposed to be his claim to fame. He has been invisible since. Detroit is in a much worse situation than the Bulls and will be for a while. I hope the pistons fail to make the playoffs, they can enjoy their #14 pick in the draft.

Great Bulls win tonight, way to stick it to detroit. Hopefully with 10 games left we will see at least a 7-3 finish to get to .500 and a decent seed in the playoffs

Nice to see positive comments and not all those negative ones. The team is on the right track and VDN though still a bit of a liability can only improve. He IS a rookie. I just wish that for next year more emphasis will be made on defense.

Well, at least the Bulls are winning the games they should be winning. They are better than the garbage of the NBA, but not as good as the elite teams.

I'm glad the Bulls finally realized Bynum only went right in just enough time to not get beat by him single handedly. The defense was pretty good... at times or maybe one even time.

So, the Bulls won:
.... without Rose?
... with VDN coaching?
... with players Paxson assembled?
Bloomie Kool-Aid should be returning soon.

Let BG go - or sign and trade him.

Hinrich can do everything that Gordon can plus a lot more.

Just for you Rosie and your legion of idiots who have no clue about basketball. I enjoy your Blackhawks coverage Steve, but your basketball knowledge is non-existent. HERE ARE THE FACTS. The Bulls were a bottom 5 defense in the 1st two months. Kirk Hinrich came back in mid January and since this team has gotten better and better defensively.

FOR ALL OF MARCH.... BULLS LAST 12 GAMES. record 7-5.... could easily be 10-2-- PHI, MIA, and LAL, were all winnable.... but I'll take 6-5 when you look at the schedule.

BULLS PPG - 104.1

OPP PPG - 94.7

POINT DIFF(the true barometer of a teams D that takes PACE into the equation) is in DOUBLE DIGITS for the DOZEN GAMES and we have played some VERY good teams. I see a team that is hustling back, challenging shots, blocking shots, out=rebounding, AND outscoring teams IN THE PAINT. SO PLEEEAAAASSSE.. Can we stop this nonsense talk about the "horrible D" we play...the people who are saying this must just be IDIOTS or be looking at SEASON LONG stats and NOT what the team is DOING NOW.. WAKE UP BULL FAN... we have a defense...

oh and PROPS to BDN for a great job this year. He has his team PLAYING HARD and PLAYING DEFENSE. The nteam is coming together and IMPROVING, which is the coaches job....you morons act like the X's and O's are rocket science in this game.... the coaches jo0b is handling the egos on the team and getting them to play for each other THEY ARE.. the critics are WRONG. Would you all rather have Skiles? his style has a VERY short shelf life and team just turn him OFF.... D'antoni, the genius everyone wanted couldnt win with a LOADED Suns team and his Knicks quit on him when they had a chance. Would you all rather have another perennial LOSER NBA RETREAD coach? I like Vinny and he is CLEARLY starting to get this. PROPS VINNY.

Must agree that VDNegro has been unfairly criticised all year. The man has had many injuries and a lineup full of youth and egos that he has dealt with extremely well. These Bulls were very, very bad early this season with Gooden and Hughes playing. Then Luol Deng is not healthy and he is suppose to be the teams big player. Then the trades at the deadline an having to work new players in. The guy can coach. Just because he "looked overwhelmed and bewildered" in his first month people, mainlly the media who catch on to something a few know-nothings are saying and run with it. But if you look at the Bulls, they have improved immensely and are playing hard in meaningful games late in March. So, I will join in and give KUDOS to Del Negro. Keep this team improving Vinney and you may be around for a while.
