The Magic can beat anyone if they continue to get good ball movement and don't allow teams like the Celtics or the Pistons to get into their defensive sets.

I also liked the Gortat and Howard combo out there. Now that can be one magnificent block party.

I will call you crazy ... its not the other teams getting into the orlando magic sets, its that celtics and cavs can play howard straight up because he has no low post move, and our shooters cant shoot open 3's with a man in their face.

And before anyone goes crazy about yesterdays win, no rondo, no garnett, and pierce had a really off night. lets see them beat the pistons who have beaten us 16 our 19 games. Nuff said.

The Magic can win many more games if they use both alot of drives and shooting. If their shooting become cold due to fear or lack of confidence in the 4th quarter, it must change to drive-thru plays as it will become unstopping and winning plays. However, they need to believe in themselves that they can do well and beat Boston or Detroit. Go Magic Go!!!!

No low post moves? Have you watched any Magic games? Play him straight up? Does that mean there was no help defense on Dwight? Did you watch that game? Please!

It does not matter... When the C's get back KG and Rondo, it won't matter whether or not the Magic play 'their' game... They don't stand a chance in a 7 game series against the Celtics. Three-point shooting softies like the Magic are playoff-fodder for the physical, bump 'n grind teams like the Celtics... Someone should remind SVG of that... Without almost 5 guys, you struggled to beat the Celtics... That shows the gulf between the two teams.

Here we go ... how many touches did he have last week against the pistons? 12 ... and its not because our shooters were shooting lights out.

What go to, low post move does Howard have? I'm not talking about when he plays Charlotte or Indiana ... I'm talking about when we get to playoff basketball vs teams who have bigs that can play Howard straight up ... Cavs, Pistons, Celtics ... name me a move that when they are guarding us straight up that they throw down to Howard and its an automatic 2?

Spare me the superman crap ... come back down to relaity.

Name any player in the NBA that has a go-to move against Dwight straight up. There is none. Go home. Dwight blocking shots into Boston's upper deck, that's all that matters. Dwight's only 23, his go-to move is get the hell out of the way. His running hook with either hand is go-to enough for me.

Stop reading articles and watch some games.
There is no such thing as an automatic 2. Not even a layup. Dwight now has a hook shot with either hand that is a big improvement from previous years. This is his one low post move that he has that works with great frequency. I believe Dwight dunks are down by almost 50% but he still maintains his scoring average.
I said nothing about superman...so I don't know what I am sparing you. Please spare me your silly arguement.

ESPN is so in love with the Cavs and Celtics, the Magic are a mere afterthought according to the worldwide leader. The Magic need to change that thinking and win in the second round and getting the second seed would make that accomplishment a lot easier.

If, and we all know it will be, we play the Pistons in the playoffs, I will have tickets for sale. I cannot go to the game and suffer through the garbage that the Pistons are. Until the Magic get tough enought to knock these bastards off the floor, they will NEVER be among the best!!!!

The Magic need to get more aggressive on defense, set up the transition game and shoot higher percentage shots. It does seem like they settle for the 3 too fast. As for the toughness it's going to take to beat a team like Detroit : Someone needs to find out what makes Dwight play angry, then pull a water boy-type stunt to get him going and then let him loose!

it's a tight finish between boston,orlando,cleveland...fun to watch..anything can happen in playoffs in seven game series!!!
magic could play lock down defense and get hot,or they could just let boston smack em around...this young very talented orlando has more talent to me than boston..but do they want it more than boston..they goota get mean, nasty, tuff right now..they gotta say it is our time to take it right now,not next year, now!!!!! attitude and heart will win it all!!!
