Do all UConn grads not check their AMEX cards for regular charges. No wonder all these NBA guys are broke.

Where do you guys get the idea that Rip graduated?

Wow... just wow.

(UConn Men's bball graduation rates hover around 30% for the last 10-15 years or so. And remember, for every Caron Butler who leaves early, there's a benchwarmer who does graduate.)

Is it just Uconn having these issues? WOW WOW. The crazy's will do anything to unseat a team, only because they are going for a National Championship. If other college bb teams were in the lime light, things would emerge for them too. I don't consider Michigan St., or U N. Carolina, or Villanova as Champions. LOL Uconn will survive and the fog will clear and Uconn will move on. Hamilton listen to your daddy, and go after this scum bag( Nochimson)- his need for greed needs to be ended, before more guys get scammed. Uconn good luck in the tournament - we fans love you. GO HUSKIES ALL THE WAY.

Spoken like a true college graduate. UCONN should be so proud.
George Bush was a Yale grad. Did he speak like Lawrence Olivier?

Rip trusted someone he considered to be a friend and got screwed by that person. This is not something new, folks. The only difference here is that it gets amplified because Rip played hoops at UConn, which is the de facto professional basketball team in this state. That he never checked his AMEX account isn't surprising - again, because Rip most likely does not sit down and go through his bills like most people would. And why? Partly is because Rip makes millions a year playing in the NBA. Also, because he had Nochimson doing it. And sadly for Rip, Nochimson was doing a lot more with that card than what Rip had authorized (or trusted) him to do with it. It's a hard, tough lesson for this young man to learn. Rip Sr. tried to warn him, but again, Rip knew Josh from the basketball program and felt he knew him as a friend. I feel for Rip in this situation.

The graduation rate for men's basketball players who entered during the 2001-02 school year is 33%. This compares to 74% for all UConn Storrs freshman and 73% for all UConn student-athletes receiving athletics aid in this cohort. The 2001 freshman cohort graduation rate among all Division I men's basketball programs was 49%.

Nochimson is obviously a total creep and completely useless. I hope he ends up going to jail for his role in all of this particularly him stealing from Hamilton.

You also would've thought Calhoun would have some loyalty to Hamilton and thus he would have also distanced himself from Nochimson.

Nochimson looks like a total dork to be honest and obviously I guess he just thought he was some big man on campus making all kinds of money and could do whatever he wanted to. Send the nerd to the big house

Ralphie Boy, whats your interest in Rip's under wear?? What's that all about? I just want to know are all UCONN basketball players as dumb as Hamilton? Calhoun has a good thing going - getting rich off of these dumb jocks. How is he any different than this so called business manager?? Again, Ralphie Boy stop thinking about Rip's shorts and go back to folding laundry or what ever it is that you do.

The people Bernie Madoff ripped off graduated from Harvard and Oxford. Are you saying those degrees are embarrassing too? Rich people apparently are more concerned with making more $$$ than they are with how their money is invested and spent.

The allegations against the contact Calhoun and the coaches had with Nochimson are from 2006-2007.

Hamilton discovered that Nochimson was taking money in the summer of 2008. How could Calhoun have distanced himself for things he was unaware of?
