Nuggets hold cheerleading tryouts

The Denver Nuggets held cheerleader tryouts on Saturday. Hopefuls gathered at the Pepsi Center for a shot at making the squad.

Do you even know the difference between the cheerleaders and the dancers? They are two different groups. Which one are you talking about. Half of the Cheerleaders are men.

For you info..I am a female...and yes I do know the difference..first of all, you will have to remove the cucumber from your own A$$.....I have been 2 many games..all these gals are.....r want to be baller wives with very little talent...looks like an arobics class...they are paid $25. per game.....so you stop hating LOSER..........

Though I do agree that many of them are just looking for the wealthy players to support them, even if they're just dating, they get stuff too. I know from experience. Not me, but I have aquaintenecs that are cheerleaders/dancers for the teams, and they like to name drop and play around with the men. But there are those who don't as well. And cheerldeading/dancing is hard work and many of these women do have normal jobs that require brains, though some do just local porn too. It's a mixture.

I can't figure out what people have against the co-ed cheer squads.

To the girl that has more talent in her anus....if you did have more talent than they do, you would be out using it, not posting about it on a message board. The line about work and supporting yourself is a cop out. Any girl that I've ever met who is a "stunting" cheerleader and who is good at it, enjoys it so much they have it set at a very high priority.

When I was younger I didn't appreciate the talent and ambition it takes to actually be a good cheerleader. They have to have balance and stamina that no normal people have. They train hard, and they get to play hard! Congratulations to the new cheerleaders who make the squad!

I was a competitive cheerleader in HS and on ALL Star. While I have never supported professional cheerleading profession, they are intelligent girls who are required to either be in school or have an outside job. Nuggets Cheerleaders also have talent in order to perform the skills they do. Some of the are UCA and NCA instructors. Tumbling and stunting take intense practice and training. They might have motives to date whomever but they also might just want to perform. Seeing how there arent many opportunities to keep up your cheer career after college, prof cheer is one of the only otions other than UCA/NCA STAFF OR PRO X IF YOU ARE TIGHT SHIT. Actual cheer teams are legit! As for the Prof Cheerleaders who are really dancers, they should be called DANCERS. Because they are not cheerleaders ad there is a big difference between the two. Just because they are on the sideline with pom poms doesnt give them the right to be titled cheeeleaders. Call them Poms and call it a DAY!!!...And last time I checked people don't frequently die from dancing skills. Cheerleading requires talent and athleticism and people have died and been permanently injured from the competitive skills cheerleaders perform. Real Cheerleading is compettive cheerleading which is much more evolved than rah rah girls. Cheerleading is a sport and most of you are ignorant asses who assume. I'd like to see most of you perform the intricate skills cheers do. If you want to see real cheerleading look at Univ. od Louisville, Univ of Kentucky, Paul Lawrence Dunbar HS, Greenup Hs, Gymtyme all stars, Top Gun All STars, Peak Athletics, Kentucky Elite All stars, HPU, PRO X Cheer...just to name a few.
Cheerleading is evolved and an incredible sport to be involved in if its legit( Reall Cheerleading with stunts and gymnastics)
Stop being close-minded and get your facts right!

I happen to male on the denver nuggets cheer team. To start off we dont choose our uniforms. The girls especially have tried to get uniforms that cover a bit more but it is out of their control. If you paid any attention you would also know the bimbos you are talking about, go out into the community and give back. can you say you have done that? Second,saying they have no talent is plain stupid and closed minded. It almost makes me think of back in grade school when someone would talk crap cause they where jealous. If it makes you feel better after bad mouthing something you dont know about, you have some serious issues. WE have more talent in our pinkies than most people will ever see in the entire life. All the hours, tears and sweat we put into this sport cant even be comprehended. It is the number one sport that sends people to the er. I have played high school and college football and have sustained no where near the amount of injuries i received in 4 years of cheering..All of us are student or have full time real jobs. So to all the people that are bad mouthing someone that is doing what they love, take moment step back and go see what all cheerleader especially at pro level have to go through. It takes many many years to get to this level and for the ladies it is even harder for them. I can promise you, you will think different.
