Prior to 2005 businesses paid income and property tax. Our tax structure was said to be driving business out of the state and was changed. The solution they came up with was the CAT tax, which is a very small tax on revenues and is similar to how Texas taxes businesses.

The CAT tax was designed with the input of business and was especially designed to make the state more competitive to attract manufacturing.

Bottom line is that they already get enough of a break because they only have to pay the CAT tax. Besides, they were the ones who promised to pay all customary taxes in the constitutional amendment THEY WROTE THEMSELVES.

Bottom line: LIBERALS ARE HYPOCRITES. THEY ARE ONLY AGAINST TAX BREAKS FOR THE RICH WHEN REPUBLICANS PROPOSE THEM. LIBERALS LOVE BILLIONAIRES AND RICH CORPORATIONS WHEN THEY ARE IN THEIR POCKETS!!!

Ohioans voted for the casino's. Those in government do not care what we approved. Coleman and the Dispatch are the worst of the lot fighting against the columbus area casino all the way. Kasich isn't helping deliver what Ohioans approved.
