There are 15 comments on the LA Daily News story from Mar 29, 2009, titled Lakers left with ill feelings after losing at Atlanta. In it, LA Daily News reports that:

Kobe Bryant wasn't feeling well. It showed. Mike Bibby scored 21 points - including an improbable 3 off the top of the backboard - and the Atlanta Hawks took advantage of a tough game for Bryant, beating Los Angeles 86-76 Sunday to knock the Lakers another game behind Cleveland in the race for the NBA's best overall record.

No excuse for loosing. If no home-court advantage through out, I predict there will be no Champ. Lakers watchout. Focus, please play every game as your final game, period or go home.

Forget home-court advantage , lakers will not catch up with the Cavaliers . I think it it's time some of the players had some rest since they secured westren conference all the way .Boston nd Orlando will lose some games before the end of the regular season . Lakers will beat the Cavaliers in the finals in 6 games ........go Lakers.

The Lakers are too confident they can beat Cleveland even if they do not have home court advantage. But they are wrong. Just like what I said before, it will be too late until they realize they could have stepped up with their game much earlier. Poor Kobe! If they lose the crown this year again, Odom will have to go... as well as Vujacic and Farmar.

kobe is arguably the best player, he might be...but the lakers would be ALOT better with lebron james, he does so much more on the court, and he shares the ball more...kobe might be the best, but lebron would make the lakers better than kobe has.

Lebron is not better than Kobe, he just gets away with alot more. The league has its favorite team at the beginning of each year and this year it's Cleveland last year was Boston. Lebron has a better surrounding cast right now, more consistant, but as far as Lebron being a better fit for the Lakers is not true at all, Kobe will lead the Lakers to another title, maybe even this year, hopefully!!

Kobe has a better outside jumper than LeBron. LeBron is better in pretty much every other measurable (passing, rebounding, leading, driving, shot blocking and now overall defense as well). Wade is a distant 3rd to both.

The cavaliers have looked great recently but I don't see any where near the same dominance against good teams. Experience wins championship and I just don't think Cleveland is ready to take that step yet. However the Lakers are primed to win a championship without Bynum. If Bynum comes back any where near his pre-injury form you can cue the parade----------It's ooooovvvvveeeeerrrr

lebron does not have a better supporting cast, HE MAKES THEM BETTER...the only player on the cavs that would start on the lakers is mo williams....and he is an allstar by default...thats the difference, lebron has a bunch of solid role players, BUT HE MAKES THEM REALLY GOOD PPLAYERS....kobe has an all star and a good player and a bunch of role players, BUT HE DOESNT MAKE THEM BETTER.
